How did you dress when you were pregnant?

Ask:
How did you choose to dress when you were pregnant? I notice that some women love to show off their baby bump, while others hide it under baggy clothes. What did you do??

Would you please give a reason for your choice in your post? (For example, if you showed off the baby bump, was it because you wanted to show the world that you were pregnant or was it that your clothes were a little snug?)
Answer:

I think it is OK to show a little bit of a belly bump (tastefully), though I am not a fan of showing off the actual stomach! It all depends on the clothes you can find. I bought most of my maternity clothes from Target and Old Navy. Then, I even borrowed from some friends!
Answer:

I like to try and show that I was pregnant only because I am a little bigger and sometimes you would have to question whether I was pg or just fat. I loved getting the attention so I tried to make myself look that way!
Answer:

I wore clothes that definitely showed that I was pregnant because I wanted to show & then towards the end they were just getting too snug!!! I did not show my actual belly-I don't like that. I wanted people to know that I was pregnant because I enjoyed being pregnant.
Answer:

I can't stand how some women wear jut baggy clothing or even men's clothing...cause to me, they just look bigger, not pregnant! I LOVED showing off my belly in maternity clothes. I liked that they were fitted to show that the belly was a BABY! (Oh, and I agree on the fact that I NEVER showed up the belly withOUT the clothing! That is too much to me...seeing those bellies hanging out under too short shirts, etc!!)
Answer:

if the baby bump is covered by clothes but still noticable that is perfectly fine, but if your belly is hanging out all over the place then maybe not. i wore what was comfortable, i couldn't stand anything touching my stomach when i was pregnant with ds, but with dd my baby bump was noticable under whatever i wore. i don't think a baby bump should be hanging out all over the place though, keep it covered, i don't care if the shirt is tight, as long as your tummy is covered. and ifeel that way wether your pregnant or not.
Answer:

I prefered baggy clothes because it seems people feel like its their right to ask a pregnant woman 20 questions or *shudder* touch their stomach. IRL I have social issues so it made me really really uncomfortable.
Answer:

I wear fitted tops and show off the bump. with my first I even wore a (tasteful) bikini. THEN THE STRETCH MARKS CAME but for the most part this pregnancy I have lived in plain, fitted maternity tops from gap and old navy and scrub bottoms for working... its HOT
Answer:

I can't stad the newer fitted maternity clothes!! I wore maternity clothes very early and the big baggy ones!!! I go for comfort!! Oh, and there was NEVER any question that I was pregnant!

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I just took my summer clothes to the consignment shop & I was sad that I would not get to wear them again. I loved being pregnant; If I were younger I would consider being a surrogate! I liked it that much!
