Answer:
Anyone have a goal for today?? Mine is pots/pans and my oven drawer... going to donate what I don't use, and make a list of new baking pans I need to buy...
Answer:
I want to declutter the following:
my college notes (I graduated from Graduate school nearly five years ago)
my skinny clothes - this is hard for me (wondering if I'll ever be a size 6 again)
my bookshelf
the shed
- I have Christmas decorations that I put up in my girls bedroom - seems
unneccesary
- I have new cookie tins I bought on clearance and was going to use them next
Christmas, but they just feel like clutter right now
- Old christmas lights
- Mardi Gras, Easter, Thanksgiving decor - do I really need to decorate for every
holiday
I need to organize and purge my digital pictures
the biggest thing - my magazine clippings - I clip out TONS of things I think I'll keep and
although I do have a place for them it still feels like mental clutter
recipes
This should take quite a while.

I have ben trying to declutter my house since my daughter was born 2&1/2 years ago. It's only gotten worse since Haylie has been born. My house looks like a toy store and a kids clothing store, so my goal is to declutter, declutter, declutter!
Here's what I have to do:
*clean out both girls rooms(clothes)
*basement (toys)
*laundry room
*old books
* hubby's sock and underwear drawer
*my skinny clothes (I don't think I'll see size 8 again, haha)
*totes full of junk we brought with us from our parents' house(6 years ago!!!!)
I'm motivated because I tired of all the clutter and I'm tired of it all collecting dust I have to clean!!
I'll keep everybody posted!

Answer:
I wish that I could say that my whole house was decluttered and cleaned thoroughly. Babysteps is the key word for me and progress not perfection in 2007 as Flylady says. My goal is to just do it this year. I've been working on clothing and my kitchen. Clothing because we have too much of it and the kitchen because I am going to focus on one room at a time and try my best to keep it clean. I am finally for the most part done with the kitchen but you have to keep at it or it will get messed up real fast. I'm tired of making excuses for the mess. We live in a 14 by 60 mobile home with hardly any storage areas. I am just going to have to get creative when it comes to storage and really love everything I'm willing to store. We are going to this Spring buy a small storage shed to put Christmas decor in and of course get a lawnmower ect. My husband and boys sometimes get on my last nerve when it comes to cleaning up after themselves but I am blessed to have them and I don't want to play the maryter role or victim. Anyways yes I want to get motivated and get to work and bless my home, myself, and family.
