We’ve been intimate…anyways. He has a degree in youth ministry. He’s 28 and I’m 20. I’m in my second year of college, and he’s graduated. He is thinking about taking a job in Virginia to be a youth minister. I can not go with him because if I leave my parents won’t pay for my school, I don’t have any money or a way to get financial aid. Plus, I’m not ready to leave just yet, but someday I will. I do love him, but I need to make sure that I have a way to support myself financially, if something happened, because I want to teach and won’t be happy with any other profession. I want him to be happy, I want him to do what he wants…but how can I make sure he’s okay if I’m not? Long distance relationships are hard. I’d never cheat on him, no matter how badly I wanted sex, I don’t think he would cheat on me either because he’s so into his faith. I just…don’t know what to do?
Answer:
hi there, leave when you are ready to leave, u are right when you think of your own priorities other than him. love and sex can wait. when everything is set, then you would have the rest of your lives together.

I'm only five years older than you are, but I can honestly say that my views on life, love, etc really, really changed from 20-25. If your parents are volunteering to pay for your school, take them up on it! Long distance relationships are difficult (I did it for three years from Texas to Indiana!!), but are workable. If your man truly loves you like he says he does, then he'll wait for you to finish school, etc. It's good that you've decided not to cheat on him, and hopefully he feels the same way. If, after a few months, you can see that your relationship is kind of slipping, it may be time to kind of let go of each other and see what life has for you. Take care of yourself, let your parents help you, and just have fun at 20!

i am not thinking of you breaking up with your bf (sorry if that makes u think), if love is strong then a few years would not hurt, would it? take care and good luck. :)
Answer:
You should stay where you are, if you both really love each other no amount of distance can break your bond, and being what you want and molding yourself are priority. You have only now to pursue your goals (since you can't pay for school another way) and eternity to love and be with him...You should sit down and talk to him and tell him how much your education and being a teacher means to you, and maybe when you graduate you can go be a teacher where he is located, im sure if he's a smart guy he'll understand and respect your desicion.
