…Please do not freak me out!! I woke up this morning with a small “pimple” directly on my lower lip. It doesn’t hurt. I have been using a lot of neosporin and vaseline on the lip to get rid of a really bad busted lip that is visible from the outside. The last guy I kissed said he sometimes gets ulcers in his mouth, but they are not herpes; he said they are from stress. [Or, I’m assuming he doesn’t “know” if they are herpes.] Anyways, I kissed this guy after a night of drinking and a break up with my current boyfriend [we are now back together, yes] of 2 years. Is this just a normal pimple? Or something else?

i have not ever felt what one feels like... however... i do know that herpies dont have to hurt... have you tried to search herpies on the internet to find out different symptoms? if this guy said that he gets ulcers in his mouth.. there is something wrong with his system in order for them to keep comming back... herpies is a thing that is ongoing... all i can say is be checked by a dr.

BELIEVE ME, I DID NOT GET IT FROM ORAL SEX. my boyfriend is THE ONLY guy i have been with and I am THE ONLY girl he has been with. the bump has gone down. i can barely feel it now, leading me to believe it is not herpes. i read a lot of the symptoms of facial herpes, and i dont have any. at all. all i want to know if it is noral to get a pimple on your lip?

It could just be an issue with a pore on your lip...I know dentists recommend l-lysine tablets for ulcers or papaya enzyme...but this thing will probably go away on its own.
