Answer:
I was friends with a guy named Jeremy for 15 years. My 'best' friend is what I called him, I do beleive they exist, but you can always change best friends. I havn't seen him for 6 months now, he lives about 45 minutes away now and we just became 2 totally different people. So now I consider us good friends, and not best friends. A best friend is what it is, your "BEST" friend, the person you hangout with the most, the person who most relates to you and all, just the person you have the most fun with you know what I'm saying? YOURE FAVORITE PERSON AND THE FEELING IS MUTUAL.
Answer:
I hope they do, I thought i found two but i guess not.
Answer:
my best friend, who i met when we were both 15, by me trying to pick up his girlfriend, is still my best friend. we can, and have, gone months without talking, and we both have our own groups of friends, but we are still, at age 35, best friends. Now, he has been married for a year, and they have a new baby, plus he had a 17 year old daughter and she has a 12 year old son..his life is very busy these days, but, when I went in the hospital, who called me everyday, who was there when I got released, and who still comes by every few days to bring me things I need ( i cannot drive again yet). Good old mike.. I think best frineds have little to do with the amount of time you spend, but more eoth the quality of the time you do spend. And how you will go farther out of your way than you would even for family, and they would for you too. Thank God everyday for my best friend, no, my brother, and if I had no one else, to know he would still be there for me.
Answer:
Having a friend is a choice and that includes having your best friend. Like any relationship, this one needs to cultivated and nurtured. I heard that its up to us to continue the friendship if one is away. Its a mutual thing and needs the participation of both. I think it do exist if one knows how to handle it and maintain no matter what the hell happens.
Answer:
A best friend is someone you can get in the nastiest fight with knowing that eventually you'll be best friends again. Mine is named Brittany, and there are a lot of people at my school who don't like her. I, on the other hand, have lots of friends always asking me why I befriend her, because we tend to spat a lot. But that doesn't change the fact that I slept in a chair beside her hospital bed for four days after she shattered her heel. The truth is there is this undeniable existance of a connection between us. Shortly after becoming friends we realized our families had worked together and were still good friends. My aunt believes we were destined to be the best of friends there is. We just fit. It's funny, she was driving the other day and I was just looking out the window thinking about this (because I think A LOT) and said, "We're going to be best friends until we die, aren't we?" and she just looked back at me and said, "Definitely." I believe without a doubt, and hope everyone can be as lucky as I am at least once in their life.
Answer:
"Best friends" are 'best' because they remain close to you throughout your life. I have many close friends or "best friends" because I have remained in touch with them. I'm extremely lucky to have such amazing people in my life who've helped get me through such tough times and situations. And I'd like to think I've helped them do the same. Some of my friends I've known since preschool and I still keep in touch with them and confide in them, and I'm 25 now. So yes I do believe True Friends exist. I don't like the term "best." xo kristen
