i am writing a research report, an argument basically to be supported by research methods and findings. i just need a basic understanding of what this essay is suppose to do. can anyone help? thanks! =)
Answer:
explain how people have used research methods to prove theories and show certain forms of evidence i guess.
Answer:
so essentially its like your looking for reasons (methods) why an idea (results) worked and then back it up with evidence? how about an argument? i'm still kind of lost on how to encapsulate all the methods and results of my research into one firm ideal premise. any advice?
Answer:
yeah i guess you'll have to list out real life examples and put them into your essay somewhere, at least thats what I would do. I mean how else do you discuss research methods and what not without actually listing the event itself.
Answer:

Answer:
Hi, First you need to think of an argument. This should be related to the topic of the course. Example for a psychology class: "It will be argued that boys are more likely to suffer from their parents' divorce than will girls". Then, you have to go to the research literature on divorce and its effects on children, to try to find evidence to support your argument. Use library sites (like one at a University) that has online journal articles, like "Journal of Marriage and the Family". Search on things like "divorce and child gender" or "boys and divorce". If you need suggestions related to a different topic area, I can try to help. Good luck!
