No, it's real, the sea gulls round where I live are like that, they will do anyhing fr food, I have seen people get mugged by seagulls all for food. They are huge and fight back too. I remember about 2 years ago there was a woman sat in a car on the beach front and was eating a cone of chips, she had her window down and this huge gull swooped in, took the chips and then sat on the porta loo roof infront of her car eating them while she watched lol
