He’s been happily married for 18 years now, hasn’t ever divorced, and he’s the last person you’d think do something like that. We’re a Christian family, and my mom even ironically teaches at the church on addictions with Internet porn being one of the topics. Well, apparently, he’s been forgetful lately and hasn’t taken the time to clear the history… Once I walked into the room w/ the computer and bumped the table as I was getting my school books off of it, which slightly moved the mouse, which turned the screen saver off, which revealed what was really on the screen, which basically scared me for life. Would it kill the guy to close thehun.com BEFORE he leaves the computer room? What sort of sick pleasure are you supposed to get from that? One thing I really don’t want to do is let my mom know. She always tells me how proud she is of my dad for being so faithful and never, ever looking at other women.

He’s so sloppy with it, leaving it on after he’s done with the computer, and not clearing the history that it makes me wonder how long it’ll be before my mom does find out. I mean, if you’re going to look at naughty things, at least clean up the mess… Should I just ignore it, should I say something to him about it, or what?

This is simply not true. Internet porn is a problem. It changes the way men view women and the way they ultimately view the women they are married to. It creates a world of fantasy and is not about not having enough sex. There are plenty of men who would rather watch porn than have sex with their wives. That being said, it may be that your mother was the one watching the porn to learn about it for the classes she has been teaching. Is this the only time you have ever found this sort of thing? If you don't know for sure its your father you should give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it was someone else.
