I was wondering. I wanted to find a temporary home for my dog, do they have anything that does that, like a program or anything? we need a place for him for like 5-6 months, other wise we have to find a permanent home for him :( I dont want to get rid of him altogether, cause that is sad, and no one in my family can take him, we all already have pets, and me and my bf are moving in with his mom for a few months, then were getting a place of our own, but we cant take the dog with us to his moms house

da- what does that mean, board them Like the term "room and board" There are places, some times called "kennels", that will watch your dog for you for a fee. People often time use them when they go on vacation and so need someone to watch their dog for a week or what ever. I’m sure they would also not turn you away if you plan to keep It their longer as long as you pay, and come see the dog on a regular bases. There are independent kennels and sometimes vets run their own kennels.
