Cut the Geo project into segments and figure out how much you need to do each day to get it done. Make sure to make some time to go out with friends, even if you just have one or two good ones. Most of the time, that's all you will need anyways! Quality, not quantity! As for jerks and jerkeses, just let them be jerks, you have more important things to do with your life!

The friend i always do things with lives quite far away, or at least when she's with her mom. and i have another friend, but shes better friends with my sister. the person being a jerk, was someone i thought i was friends with... someone that i could always talk to, obviously not.

Hey now, don't sweat the small stuff. Essays, Ok they are a bind. But apply yourself and they will soon be a memory.And you can feel proud of your achievements. Been there. Did my degree with 2 small children and a part time job. Its no picnic.So good luck. With regard friends etc and your social life. Its amazing how a person feels by taking some time to 1) put yourslf in the other persons shoes. Sometimes their actions can be better explained that way. 2) If you feel lonely, there are so many people out there who feel the same. It only takes a little bravery to maybe start a conversation, make a neighbourly gesture and believe me it opens so many doors! I'm no angel. I have been quite selfish and insular in the past. But I moved 250 miles away from my family because of my husband (his career) and I had to start again which involved forcing myself to start conversations etc.Everyone is the same. It just takes a friendly hello, and you will be away...trust me!! Best regards.. LG
