It's funny what little things you hear in your life that make a difference to you, change you, inspire you or make you look at things differently. When I was a grumpy teenager my mother would always comment on the sunset or a nice tree and I would just grunt and say, "what do you want me to say?" she would say "I just want you to appreciate the beauty in that simple thing" I suppose when you start looking at and appreciating the simple stuff it helps to put things into perspective. Everyone has their own saying or phrase that means something to them. It would be nice to read what other people believe has made a difference to them.
