Answer:
Satans place on this earth, after Adam abdicated his position, then Christ had to make a way of redemption to gain back his creation, after sin entered. NEIL ANDERSON'S DAILY IN CHRIST from Freedom in Christ Ministries CHRIST, OUR RULER Ephesians 2:1, 2 You were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air We live in a world which is under the authority of an evil ruler. Originally God created Adam and his family to rule over creation. But Adam forfeited his position of authority through sin, and Satan became the rebel holder of authority to whom Jesus referred as "the ruler of this world" (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11). During Jesus' temptation, the devil offered Him "all the kingdoms of the world and their glory" (Matthew 4:8) in exchange for His worship. Satan's claim that the earth "has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish" (Luke 4:6) was no lie. He took authority when Adam abdicated the throne of rulership over God's creation at the fall. Satan ruled from Adam until the cross. The death, resurrection and ascension of Christ secured forever the final authority for Jesus Himself (Matthew 28:18). That authority was extended to all believers in the Great Commission so that we may continue His work of destroying the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). All of us were born spiritually dead and subject to the ruler that Paul called "the prince of the power of the air" (Ephesians 2:2). But when we received Christ, God "delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son" (Colossians 1:13). Our citizenship was changed from earth to heaven (Philippians 3:20). Satan is the ruler of this world, but he is no longer our ruler, for Christ is our ruler. But as long as we live on the earth, we are still on Satan's turf. He will try to rule our lives by deceiving us into believing that we still belong to him. As aliens in a foreign, hostile kingdom, we need protection from this evil, deceptive, hurtful tyrant. Christ has not only provided protection from and authority over Satan, but He has equipped us with the Sprit of truth, the indwelling Holy Spirit, to guide us into all truth and help us discern the evil one's schemes (John 16:13). Prayer: Heavenly Father, I affirm that You are my Lord today. I choose to be a bond servant to Christ and to no other. ____________________________________________________________ Title: Seeing God in Your Circumstances Author: Theodore Epp Philippians 1: 12-21 The life of the indwelling Christ enabled Paul to be free from worry and self-care during his imprisonment, which could have led to death. Paul was bold and unashamed and was concerned only that Christ would be magnified in his body regardless of what awaited him--life or death. There was no wavering on his part. We tend to think that these tremendous qualities were true only of the great men of God, such as the Apostle Paul, but that it is impossible for us to attain them. Somehow Satan blinds our eyes to the fact that we can have the same determination to glorify Christ in our lives that Paul had in his. The same Christ indwells us, not only to give us the desire to glorify Him but also to enable us to have the boldness to carry out that desire. Having told of his desire to please Christ in everything, whether through life or through death, Paul said, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Phil. 1:21). This was the basis for Paul's being able to live victoriously in Christ. He was not concerned about drawing attention to himself; rather, he wanted to glorify Jesus Christ in everything. All of Paul's life was focused on Jesus Christ. It is good for each of us to weigh his or her activities and ask, "Are the things I am doing all done to further my own interests, or are they really glorifying Christ?" "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself up for me" (Gal. 2:20, NASB). ____________________________________________________________ John Rice Prayer: It doesn't change God, it changes me.

Answer:
I've never gone to church, other than a few times around holidays with family. My mom isn't really into it, but I believe in God. Often times I really don't understand the bible though. It all seems so confusing.
Answer:
I am an atheist (do not believe in God) but I do believe that most of us are born with the basic inctinct which tells us right from wrong (good v/s evil). For those who would try and convert me to God I will ask this simple question... If God made us, who made God?
Answer:
heh, thats a good question. I I'm never 100% sure about my faith because there are so many unanswered questions. I kind of think thats what faith is though, you have to believe, even if you don't understand. Personally I've never tried to convert anyone. I think anyone can believe in whatever the want and I don't think you'll automatically get sent to hell if you don't go to chruch or you haven't been baptised. I think God loves everyone and will forgive you even if you don't beleive. You have to think of God as all powerful and he just exists because he is God. That probably makes no sense at all and probably sounds kind of stupid, but personally I have to beleive in God or else I really don't have much strength. So maybe I'll pray for an answer to your question. Who knows, he just might give me an answer.
Answer:
Muzik.... if you want your faith to grow, you have to feed it... by reading the bible, and church helps too, being around other people of faith, etc. learning and experiencing, is exciting. An easy way to start is with the book of John, he was a disciple that was extra close to Jesus, and he loved him greatly... his book is easy to read and understand, and if you do, read it and would like to talk about it, I would like to hear your input, you can post, or shout... either one. And if I can be of any help, please don't hesitate to ask.. OH, and about the unanswered questions.. I think we won't have all the answers until we meet him face to face..... Many Blessings....
Answer:
yes, I've read the bible here and there. Like I said, its hard to follow sometimes. I want to go to church, but i've never really gone so I don't think I know hw to start looking for the right church. I always just kind of talk to God on a daily basis, its like a real friendship. Kind of like in Fiddler on the roof when he keeps arguing with God. Last night I prayed for God to help my mother see the error of her ways and guide her to a healthier, happer lifestyle. I just hope he hears me.

It's hard to talk to God and bring stuff to God when my head hurts so much. I think it was the marijuana and gangsta rap I was listening to last night.
