So, I guess this is more of a rant, just so someone heres it instead of it staying locked in my head. I feel like im the water in the sink thats spiraling down the drain, along with my life. Either I will keep my job until the end of the month, then quit or get fired before the end of the month. Either way atleast I wont have this job, which is great because it is really is horrible. But until im out of this job, im stuck here and it sucks. Im still going to school and I dont know what for. That sucks. Because I work and take so many classes I think Ive lost all of my “friends”. Mabey they werent Real friends, but atleast they were somethin. I dont know what Ill do after this job, I dont know what Ill do about school, seeing as how Ive petty much ran out of ideas and money. Money..o god. I cannot begin to tell you about all of the money I dont have. I just backed into a brand new truck that I will have to pay for. I just had x-rays done on my dog. And I just took out a small loan. EVer feel stuck? yea……

Well... Excessor, you should know better that no one here would care. I think most her will care. I do. You are asking alot of yourself... it is admirable, but I can understand the source of your frustrations. A simple life has simple problems. A complex life has complex problems.... hun you have a complex life. You have a lot of irons in the fire, and there is more opportunity for you to learn things... (check out my thought of the day today). Money...wow... that is an always will be a tough one. I know what you mean, living paycheck to paycheck, and barely able to do that is very frustrating...in debt up to my "you know what" But money can be a mindset too. I suggest you quickly find a new job one that you will like, and quit this one. Don't even worry about a notice. Will they fire you with a 2 week notice?? NO. But you have to get the hell outta there. So dust off that remume and put yourself out there. We can help you if you want... I am even willing to look at your resume if you wish. We all need an inspiring goal. Without it will become resigned or bored... and the only difference between a rut and a grave are the dimentions. So what is your dream Excessor?

Ex...I'd seriously think about unloading the truck as soon as you can. I'd imagine that however you financed it, there's a loan involved, and that will mean interest. I suspect that in your current financial state, the interest is going to kill you in the long run. On a personal note, however, you DO seem like a truck girl, for some reason. If there is any possible way that you can hang on to your job, I'd highly recommend you make every effort to do so, at least for the present. It is brutal trying to land a new job during the holidays, so ideally, you'd keep it 'till you landed a new one. I don't mean to sound overly-parental but all jobs can be uncomfortable at times and it's times like THESE that you have to be extra dedicated, as your finances and future don't allow you the kind of wiggle room that you may like. All is not over, however, because new opportunities always come along as long as you offer them a little patience to start out with. Whatever happens DO NOT quit school. It can add so much to your future; however, I'd definitely recommend trying to make more time for friends. I know this sounds contrary to my advice about working, but if you can work a little less and still make tuition, you are going to have a University experience that you won't regret. No one ever dies saying "Man, I wish I had worked more." So work...but not more than you need to. For your puppy, I know that putting him down is something that no pet owner ever wants to consider, so if he needs treatment of some kind, perhaps that would be something to approach your parents about, if possible. It sucks asking your parents for support, of course, but if there's an innocent canine life at stake, I think it's excusable. Of course, I know that not everyone's familial relationship allows that, in which case I am very sorry and hope that your puppy makes a stellar recovery without needed too much doctoring. If not, perhaps your vet would be willing to work out some kind of payment plan. It's not the happiest arrangement, but it should have much less interest than a loan. That's all I can suggest for now, Ex. Though, I am really curious as to where you work. Perhaps if you gave more info about your field, we could come up with alternative suggestions? (Note: please do not say "hostess at Cheesecake Factory")

ok so we have a pretty similar life. . .and in my personal opinion if you don't know what you are going to school for either quit while you are ahead or go with a marketable skill like teaching, nursing, welding even. . . don't just keep going to school and racking up debt. I did that its a bad idea. And the dog thing too. I just had to give up my dogs. It was heartbreaking, Im still depressed about it. . just see if your vet will work with you, usually they are ok. If the dog doesnt need immediate attention you can always register with a veterinary school and you get put on a waiting list but it is free, usually they get to you within a few months.

oh yeah i totally know what your going through, for one my old job sucked, everyone there were just plain assholes and my boss, god dont get me started! acted liked a spoiled three year old girl, im in college too, and while i have a small amount of idea as to what i wish to do, i still dont really have any clue, and yep dont have no money either yet gotta pay a medical bill, so with that i say good luck to you and hope things may take a turn for the better!

This too shall pass.... life gets hairy for everyone at times, but, it can be coped with, there are a lot of good ideas that have been posted, and probably more to come, hang in there, it will change. And one day you will be able to look back and laugh, at what you now feel is the end of your world. It's not, its really just the begining. Take some time for your self, burnout is easy to acquire, and hard to rid oneself of, a quiet walk in the park, or in the country, somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, where you can reflect, by a stream perhaps, and go there often, refreshing your self, allowing the beauty and serenity of nature to surround you, and fill you with new hope, new vision, new inspiration, recharge your batteries, that life have drained..... You will be amazed at how quickly you can recover, but, make it a life time habit, one that you find yourself returning to, time and time again, as the pressure mounts, find the solitude, and then you will be ready to face anything. Ok well, the one thing I can say to you is it could be worse. Even though it might not sound like it but really it could be. As long as you have your family to stand by your side and people who really love you well then you have all you need. Things will get better as long as you want them too they will.
