might be a little late, but here is my work (p+q)^3 - (p-q)^3 (p^2+2pq+q^2)(p+q) - (p^2-2pq+q^2)(p-q) (p^3+p^2q+2p^2q+2pq^2+pq^2+q^3) - (p^3-p^2q-2p^2q+2pq^2+pq^2-q^3) to clean that last one up a little (p^3+3p^2q+3pq^2+q^3) - (p^3-3p^2q+3pq^2-q^3) now to combine terms (p^3-p^3) + (3p^2q+3p^2q) + (3pq^2-3pq^2) + (q^3+q^3) for a total of 6p^2q+2q^3 or 2q(3p^2+q^2) i know it's late you probably figured it out already but i miss my maths :/
