daily, bout 5 or 6 times.
Answer:
I smoke a lot of weed too but here is what you need to know: - when you smoke weed, don't do it too much because the good feeling goes away and later you'll find yourself stuck in addiction because you build up resistance the more you smoke, so you'll need more and more... Smoke weed to enjoy a moment, to relax your body and mind and not because you want to forget about something. Otherwise it's a never ending circle. Sad>happy>sad>happy... Smoke during week ends or sometimes after work or socially with some friends when you all have a free time, do a barbecue... things like that. Preserve the feeling, don't let it fade =) Smoke cool man just as little is enough
Answer:
don't bogart that joint my friend, pass it over to me
Answer:
Definately sounds like you are addicted. 5 - 6 times a day is more than recreational. You are deliberately smoking to avoid something about your life. It could be emotions and stress. You need to develop other coping skills. (exercise, art, volunteer, get a new hobby, challenge yourself) But, most of all KNOW that you are okay. Don't maginify your stress by thinking something is wrong with you or that you are not good enough for something. I don't know if you are capable of smoking only once in a while as described above. I am not a proponate of pot smoking. But, I had my share of years smoking. I have seen people waste their lives away with it and I have seen people grow up beyond it. If YOU recognize that you are smoking too much ... be true to yourself and do what YOU want to do ... CUT BACK or STOP.
Answer:
I smoked every day for 6 years. I know what you are going through and think about it, it doesn't even feel that good any more. One week of not doing it is all you need. then when you smoke every now and then, it feels like fun again, you get that same feeling as before, you don't feel guilty about it and you get stuff done again. And that is an Awesome feeling. If you really struggle in the beginning, make a time table. you can smoke after certain things are done. Homework, the dishes, the washing, during a movie after 8:00 at night etc. Try it, you'll see that it is better to have control over it rather than it having control over you.
Answer:
I've smoked weed before, more than that amount of times a day over three or four days, on and off for about 3 months. But i haven't become addicted. And i know this is talking about every day.. I'm just saying.. The line of addicted / not addicted is different for everyone. I haven't smoked weed in 5 months. And i feel no urge to. If you want to stop, don't try and stop straight away because it will stress you out. Your body has become used to it, and it will just cause other problems. Take yourself off it slowly - If you get a craving, ignore it until it goes away. Then the next time you get a craving, allow yourself to smoke. This way you are gradually cutting down by half. When you are okay with those cravings apart, then cut down again. And find alternatives. Things like coffee, that you can drink instead. Be strong. Keep believing in yourself. And tell us how it goes, because we like to hear about these things :) Good luck!
Answer:
The problem is that weed is not a physical addiction drug. Your body doesn't suffer. It's an escape, and an emotion dimmer. And it's a habit
Answer:
That is true. But generally people smoke weed with tobacco, which contains nicotine, making it addictive.
Answer:
If you end up smoking that amount, you don't mix it with tobacco any more. Sure tobacco is highly addictive. I had weed smoking friends that would feel sick when mixing it with tobacco, because they were not tobacco smokers. I on the hand smoked tobacco long before smoking weed and still smoke tobacco even though I don't smoke weed any more
Answer:
I appreciate your point, but wouldn't agree with the "If you end up smoking that amount" part. My friends parents have been smoking weed for near 20 years and still mix it with tobacco. I think mostly because it's far too expensive to smoke it on its own.. And.. Well personally i think it tastes nicer, but that's because i care about the stupid little things.
Answer:
You are right. I live in a country where you can pick up a banky full for about 80c. (in U.S dollars) poverty in my country make it a way of making a little bit of money. people grow it in their back yards and sell it fot next to nothing.

I have never heard of mixing pot with tobacco! UGH that sounds awful! I always held pot in. I don't think I would want to do that with tobacco. I have heard some great suggestions here.

Answer:
my sister also just made that choice to quit cigarettes. it was her 30th birthday on top of kilimanjaro. that's the whole point when it comes to addiction. The only way you will succeed is if it was your own choice to begin with. Nobody can tell you to quit, no matter how good their suggestions are. There is something that must click in your own mind.
Answer:
Thats sounds like quite a bit of weed smoking. Maybe you should ease off that stuff, then when your ready stop doing it all together.
