ummmm ok. well i don't have one, but a friend of mine does. her mom passed away when she was younger, so when she was 16 she got one with her mom's name inside of a red heart. really cute.

My baby brother got a tattoo, it's both my family names, and symbols that relate to our family heritage. He came home last summer break from college and thought everyone was going to freak out---but really they just wanted to see it, which embarrassed him. Most people I know say it's addictive. It's not for people that easily regret.

i have to agree with heartbreaker its a very personal decision and not reversible.Most people that i know who have tatoo's say the wish they hadn't gotten them.Some seem to get addicted to getting them and it almost becomes a lifestyle choice for them.

Once I saw on the news a 15 or 16 year old girl got a huge one of winnie the pooh on her whole arm. She was underaged but the man did it anyway xP I mean .. c'mon you don't wanna have a winnie the pooh tatoo on you when you're 50 lol. If you want one I'd advise you to NOT get a winnie the pooh one xd And also I heard that in some hospitals, if you have a tatoo on a specific place on your back they won't/can't operate on you.

I, for about 10 years of my life, wanted a tatoo. When i get the balls to finally go out and seriously get it done, thier was a news story on how AIDs is spread through the needles if they're not cleaned properly. Also, all kinds od diseasses and skin problems can result from them, not to mention direct ink to the bloodstream. As you age, the ink stretches and wrinkles, and are very pricy and dangerous to remove. Of course, getting one is a decision you'll have to make on your own.

im 18 years old i got first tattooo done on my ribs(basically the most painful place to get it)its a rose(u can see it on my profile or avatar) i gotit becaue it was sexy it symbalised passion for life, passion for everything. It took me about 2 and a half hours they had to be done in differnt sessions because it was unbareable. I suggets if you are getting one in places such as: feet, neck,wrist,ribs,fingers any boney are you should go to your local pharmacy and you can get a number called EMLA and apparently it is amazing it will help you sit threw majority of the tattoo for a big bottle it cost $50.I have no regrets on my tattoo its a part of me i love it can't wait to show it off at the beach.
