there is still time till the bulk of the holidays but i just feel like there is now jollyness in me this year. Anybody else dealing with the same. How do i shed the bah hambug bug?

Like eric said, what was it that made you happy and joyus during the holidays in the past? Focus on that and you should start to see sliegh bells and christmas trees. i never realli felt in the "christmas spirit" until this year, starting maybe about 2 weeks ago, ive just been feeling like i wanna help people have a good holiday. i seriously thought of just buying random gifts (nice gifts like maybe a necklace, a watch, or anything) and give them to random people who i feel deserve something special. im not made of money, but i think that with some of the money i will get for christmas, i will do that. for some reason this year, i wanna help people have fun./////////before, i felt as if people came together only because it was christmas time, not because they wanted to spend some time together. it felt as people were being fake, just because of the time of year.

it's early yet!! I'm going to go and have a walk around the xmas stalls on the weekend and have a glass of mulled wine, and get my tree!!! The best thing about xmas?? For me is a morning walk along the beach and watching all the kids with their new kites and bikes, they get so hyper and their parents smiles as they watch them... I'm not religious but i do love that part of christmas!!

it snows in alot of places, so not that many people in tha northeast get out their kites and walk on the beach, haha. but i see what your saying. i wish it was like that here, parents and kids spending time together. i know all the younger kids do, but when they get to the age of 12, most of them go to their friends, sure, thats nice and all, but your family is more important. todays kids are greedy and only think about themselves. barely anybody is truly thankful for what they get on christmas!! im realli confused about what religion i am, im only 17 and ive grown up as a christian, but i dont know what i believe anymore, i think i believe in god, but im not fully sure. but anyways, christmas should be a time for giving and not recieving!!! care for everyone, even if you dont know them. walk old people accross the street, help people shovel out their cars, and just be nice!
