i let my 12 year old son skip school today to go with my girlfriends and their children to the show and to go Christmas shopping he is a great kid and never gets into any trouble so I let him go well while he was at hte mall he ran into my boyfriend who walked right by him like he did not even know who he was my son was very hurt by that and he said it was because he asked me last night if I was going to let him go and I said no but then I changed my mind, now he is not my son’s father nor does he live with us am I wrong for not telling him?

Tell his father instead, he deserves to know. unless dad is not in the picture for whatever reason, in which case... I dont know what to tel you. i dont think i was very helpful.

Well now he won't talk to me he is so mad at me for letting him skip school and not telling him and I don't feel it is his business but I don't want him to be mad at me either!! He will not even answer my phone calls and what I want to know is how can he judge anyone he was supposed to be at work when he seen my son so how is he any better?

he is way out of line, that is YOUR son and not his business. you are the mother of that child you know whats best for him and what he needs. you take care of him, not your boyfriend. i know hes your bf and you probably love him and all but he was wrong, and even if he was right to be mad at you, he should not have taken that out on your son. I hope it all works out for you.
