I don’t know how to respond to this. Ever since she graduated from high School earlier this year she thinks that she knows more than me but this just can’t be so; I have a great job at a hospital and am often complimented on my vast knowledge. I also speak Spanish well. If this is not enough she doesn’t want to “dress up” anymore. What do I do and where are all the real women that know how important it is to have a powerful Ohgma worshipper in your party, like to be the damsel,in distress and can respect me.

Personally I don't like Dungeons and Dragons, however, I think your girlfriend (Some girlfriend, by the way...=\) was terribly rude to say those things. I think you should get out of that relationship fast. She seems to only care about what's on the outside and not the inside. Obviously you are very well accomplished in your life and this is just a hobby for you. Seriously, you aren't the loser here, she is. Get out. Fast. She isn't worth your time.

I'm 37 and still play D&D with my friends occassionally. It's like the poker nights of old. Just a chance to get together, joke and goof off. Nothing wrong with it all. Plus, we're all married so in the end it didn't make us untouchable virgin bachelors either. My own wife definitely understood that nerds are sweet, loyal and ultimately make better income than high school jocks. She isn't the only one, so take courage. Furthermore, as an aside to Mrecaliforni: since Ohgma is the diety of learning and knowledge, I think that makes him here's D&D patron. ;-)

Yeah why do old guys date teens? Please keep playing don't let a girl stop you. I think the game is very cool and played it a few times. Guys need guy time as girl needs girl time. If she keeps it up, get a grown up girlfriend who understands you !
