helpp! Can not pull the plug if it is a laptop. It would necessitate removing the battery. Oldfart's "power button" hold down for a few seconds will work too!

need info: got it's a laptop o.k system xp? program running? no task bar at bottom? ctrl/atl/del if task bar at bottom right click to task manager select shut down.that's it the computer will close down. close lid done....... next? david
