I will be losing my home unless I can pay. I am disabled and I have children. My newborn grandson recently had open heart surgery. I have lived here for 28 years. I have no place to go and have exhausted all efforts with every agency in my area. Any suggestios?? Please help!!!!! Sincerely,

why aren't your children helping you? Move in with them or have them move in with you, unfortunatley many people have to downsize as the get older unless they have saved adequaltey for retirement

Sorry to hear about your situation. I share some of you concerns myself. What do you mean when you say "have exhausted all efforts with every agency in my area" ? I sometimes think of when I retire and won't have the money to keep my house. Some of option I may have is to sell my house. Move in to a trailer or an affordable retirement community or try finding some friends my age in the same situation and move in together to share expenses. I don't know if your children can help in the interim. Did you apply or are you getting SSI. (social security for the disabled?) I feel for you but you need to worry about you first. Something will happen for you and I hope is in your favor.
