I plan on purchasing a Zune very soon so today I downloaded the software and when I uploaded my music into Zune not everything was there.
I then noticed that everything that was missing was purchased using iTunes. So I went back and selected a folder that was only the iTunes purchased music and that didn’t work.
Is it possible to upload iTunes purchased music into Zune if so, how?
If it came down to it and I just burnt it all on CD would it then work with Zune
Answer:
I have a Zune, but I only buy my music on the Zune Marketplace. Have you looked in the help files?

Wow, I thought the answer to this question would be more straight forward, but after a few (three!) Google searches, I think I've got the gist. Zune's won't play protected AAC files, which is how most iTunes Music Store files are encoded. Similarly, iPods won't play protected WMA files from the Zune Marketplace. The easiest way to get around this is simply to burn an audio CD from within iTunes, then re-rip the CD back to your HD using "Zune software" (catchy name, huh?) Theoretically, I suppose you could also use iTunes for this and import your files as .mp3's, but as you're using a Zune anyway, you might as well have total experience. Good luck.

Thank you! In the long run I guess it will be worth it, I just have to sit myself down to do it.
