I cared a lot about her, is there anything I can do to ease the pain?
Answer:
These thing happen in life, it may hurt initially but in time you will feel better. Just move on with your life there are lot of girls out there and one of them could be your sole mate. Be your self and and try to find the one who will love you for who you are.

Find an out put. Something that you are good at, video games, yoga (helps a lot), meditation, cooking, playing sports, writing, all that. Also, I know a lot of guys don't like shopping, but if you go to the mall (its a community place, public) get yourself a few things that can boost your confidence. Maybe try a new style or embrace yours a little more. Go into a clothes store that you may have never been in (rock store, etc). Believe it or not, to buy yourself clothes and some new cds, maybe a new pair of awesome sneakers--can really make you feel good about yourself. I hate shopping, but having new clothes and shoes, music, dvd--does feel good. Sooner or later--you're confidence will boost and you'll be back in the saddle again.

hello, i am new here and i see this is quite an old post... hopefully, 6 weeks on things are starting to get better? it hurts like hell at first but it is important to know things do get easier over time. even when you're on the mend it can take a while before you're back to full strength depending on how long you were together and what happened... it's good to keep talking to your friends to make sure you have support and can get things in perspective. try not to overanalyse but do believe that the heartache has added something to your experience and personality, and try to see the positive aspects of that. i reckon!
