I personaly would like to delete my own posts. I fully understand that It would be totally inappropriate to delete other users posts no matter how I feel about them. The same goes with my replys. I would also like to delete shouts from my shout box myself. I would also like more control on what replys that other users have voted for appears on my profile. I am do not think users should delete anything anybody else puts up, but onle mine.

I think this site does the best it can with it's available resources and they try to make improvements a long the way. I think that is great that such care has been put into this site, that's more then a lot of websites do.

You can ask an admin directly to remove any posts or all of them, you can also request to have any replies removed, but only your own. I think it would be a bad idea for everyone to be able to do it themselves though as it would be a mess, sometimes people refer back to old posts for replies that could help them or others at a later date so if we had the option to be able to remove whatever we wanted and when we wanted of our own stuff then this site would be empty half the time as people would keep wipeing their profile clean, so to speak, asking an admin to remove it gets th same job done but it kind of limits the amount it is done.

I do agree. I would love to edit any mis-typed post i may have written. But then i-lazydaze does make a good point. Some people do go back and refer to previous posts/replies... So if not control over our posts, at least our 'shoutbox'? That is purely ours and no will refer to those...

You can edit your own post as many times as you want, it is the replies you can't edit. I agree with the shoutbox idea though :D

I agree but why cant we be be alowed the responsibility of being able to delete our own posts and replys. Why do we have to report them. All shouts are directed at the user who shout box they are in. Why cant we be given the choice to delete them if we find one offensive ? i totally agree.. we are able to edit our posts... but why cant we delete our posts?? it doesnt really make any sense does it...
