School I’m beginning to fail almost every single class and I don’t know what to do. I recently had a death in the family and I’m also focusing on my music career more than on school. It doesn’t matter how hard I try to get my mind back on school, because I just can’t seem to break back into the rhythm of things. Work I’m working for the remainder of my days and I just don’t have time to relax and reflect on what’s happening and what’s going to happen. I have a mind that just won’t let me be happy. It just focuses on what I want most, which are a girl and a career that is so far out of my reach at the moment. Personal Training I’m working really hard to lose weight right now and I know it’s going to take time, but that just adds onto everything else on my mind. I’m lacking patience and motivation lately, which makes me want to go crazy. Question Can anyone here provide me with any type of advice?

hey!!! i toatlly understand where you are comming from about school. It definetly gets harder when you a dream that you are trying to reach. i tend to get the same way. just TRY to come up with a way to get on task, if its a study session, or something really easy to do to help you pass your classes. it seems like you are under alot of stress. you should just take a day off just for you. have some alone time to just sit and gather all of your thoughs and look at like from a different point view. just be happy and take things at a step at a time. dont think of things as they come...take life as its comming in. .:i hope that helped:.

This is a reply 'TheNite' gave me in a previous post about something a bit the same, hope it helps :) "I know what you mean about motivation. It can be a struggle sometimes. Once in a while it’s ok to let go as long as your doing what needs to be done to the extent your not going to loose something. Perhaps there is something out side of your goal that is distracting you? Some wants,, some needs? One thing I do when I fall in this slump is to try and focus on one task at a time. heh, a baby steps theory if I may.. Silly as it sounds, but it’s just as important to accomplish the parts of a goal as fulfilling the entire goal. Just try not to spend to much time on the littler stuff. Trust in yourself, your doing it right. It sounds difficult but it’s something that just takes a little practice. There’s no better practice towards perfecting than repetition. Another thing to do is to take a step back and look at the whole picture. Perhaps your consentrating to hard on one thing. You may be focusing so hard that you’ve overwhelmed yourself and are just growing frustrated with every passing second. Stop… Step back and clear you mind for a moment. There are some important things in life, but you should find what you do gratifying. Even if it’s something you don’t “think” you like to do there is something you can find exciting about it you look hard enough. As far as your grades, perhaps finding a study partner who has similar goals. Getting involved with groups and events. These things sound like a big distraction, but just simply getting yourself out of seclusion and around other motivated people is a good way to get motivated yourself. A good way to be successful is to surround yourself with success. Do what works for you and it will work, and try not to reinvent the wheel or try to invent a new one. Save those for times when you have the time to invest. I hope this is at least a little helpful, Cheers, Kirk Most all try and relax. It’s going to be ok." it really helped me, if u have anymore questions ask him, i'll invite him to help here :) x.

You've probably heard this before, but the key is time management. You have to plan ahead how you are going to allot your time, like how many hours you should spend studying, working out, and other stuff. You really have to set your priorities. Set goals, and set them higher than you realistically think you can achieve. This is something you won't regret. If your grades are already low, just focus on getting them as high as you possibly can by the end of term, and know that next term you'll be more focused and your grades will be better. And concerning your job, school should seriously be your first priority, and you should explain that to your employer. Just ask for less hours. Most employers are more lenient with high school workers. And if he or she doesn't adhere to your request, find another job. At this point in your life, there are so many more important things than a part-time job. You just have to stay focused with your studies while maintaining your sanity by decreasing stress as much as possible.
