I’ve wanted to go on a good diet for about over a year now.

I always end up forgetting about it or I just end up being lazy and not doing it. I just really want to lose weigh because I’m not that fat, but I’m just not skinny. I always try to follow diets and excersizes but it just never works out.
What can help me to lose weight easier?

Being veggie doesn't necessarily help! I'm veggie and I pig out on chocs, cheese and pasta! lol You just need to get a healthy diet. You could try small changes at first... Like instead of that chocolate bar you're going to regret eating as soon as you finish why don't you have some carrot sticks with a dip? or some fruit if you fancy something sweet. Eventually it should become habit and you won't miss the junk food as much. Or how bout instead of getting the bus to go 3 stops, walk? Walking is brilliant exercise and it's really easy! Most people can do it! I'm not saying completely cut out cakes, crisps and chocs. Just reduce them or replace them some of the time... Oh and I think I read somewhere that you shouldn't eat an evening meal after 730pm so your body has time to digest it properly before you go to bed. This too will help weight/health wise...

If you don't need to loose weight, your body wont let you, so DONT go down the route of EDs... Why do you want to be skinny?!

Don't just diet try exercise as well, if only a little at first, it will help and it's the healthier way to go about it.
