What ever happened to those members of the Clu Clux Clan? I’m sure there are racist people, but do they get together in a group like they used to? I grew up in a very mixed community and could never imagine hating someone because of the colour of their skin…you may as well hate someone for the colour of their hair and lipstick while you’re at it lol.

When you look at someone it should not be the colour of their skin nor their ethnic origin. But the person within. Just because my mum is Japanese and my dad was French does not mean to say that I should be treated any differently or treated disrespectfully. I always try to treat people the way that I want to be treated. I have seen a lot of discrimination, not just to me but to those around me. It is your choice who you decide to be friends with and no one has any right to dictated who your friends should be. As long as a person is willing to offer their hand in friendship, I will always do the same.

I often wonder about the races that call out for college funds. Example, the Afro American colleges or/and the Latino colleges, for their own kind. I wonder who thinks that might be hypocritical? We express ourselves to not be racist, that we are all equal...then why have these colleges?????

In my opinion, there should not be seperate colleges. Even though I understand why there are, it is still racism. Can you imagine what would happen if someone tried to open a college just for whites? There are even colleges just for women. Isn't that sexism? Colleges should be open for anyone.

Life is all about choices. Treat people the way you would like to be treated. I sort of agree and disagree about separate colleges. If we are going to look at this then what about all girl private schools or all boy private schools? The key word is "private". You pay for this education. Public is open to everyone. All is welcome. Racism is still a strong subject just not as obvious. I can't walk into SAKS without the sales clerk giving me the "you can't afford it" look, or following me around. Or watching an elder white person lock their doors when I pull up or walk by their car, or an elder white person grab their belongings when I walk by, though I am wearing nice clothing, dressed properly, and carry a designer handbag. It is all about perception and what a person was taught. My husband and I teach equality but I do alert my children that some people are "ignorant". I tell them to never look down on someone because of what they wear, or were they live, or how they talk, or the color of their skin. We are all the same. It is just unfortunate that everyone doesn't feel that way. One of my biggest concerns is the use of the "N" word by African-Americans. As touchy of a subject racism is why should we degrade ourselves by continuing to use the word that caused so much discomfort and pain? I understand what a "*****" or "******" is but African American racism will not change until we stop using the word amongst each other. Why is it ok amongst black people but not ok amongst other races? Then that can only mean it is not okay...PERIOD!!!!! Wake up people you want change then look amongst yourself!!!!! You have the ability to bring about change.

I would like to point out a problem that we have in Knoxville, Tennessee with a racist organization that has infected our local government. The group consists of a network of Lawyers, City Councilmen, and Government Officials who torment people of non-white origin. Roy Mullins is a member of the local racist network who has gained the position of Knox County School Superintendent. Mr. Mullins will re-zone a single house just to keep white children from having to go to racially-mixed schools. My family was attacked by a lawyer named Steve Bowling, a member of this racist organization who invoked the racist City Council to steal our property, and proceed to put variances on every piece of property that we tried to rent, sending arsonists to burn down one of the houses that we rented, and the warehouse of the business that I started. I had to start my own business in order to earn a living because Mr. Bowling and his racist network that operates in our City Government arranged for me to never be able to get a job. My family could never afford to move away from this town, although we tried many times. The most recent economic attack that the government racists launched against me was to use their network of racist lawyers and judges to rob me of $62,000.00 in Social Security that I was rightfully entitled to. I was planning to leave this horrible town with the money, but the criminals who are trying to kill me in order to cover up for their evil deeds want to keep me stranded without adequate money to safely leave, so the attention that was generated by their recent attempt to kill me can die down, and they can TROUNCE ME AGAIN. Writing this letter probably makes no difference to me because these maniacs are probably going to finish me off anyway, and if I remain silent then others will continue to be hurt. They recently tried to drive me onto a top secret military installation so that I would be shot on sight. They want me dead, but they don't want there to be any question about how it happened. We could not move because I was never allowed to have a job. My mother, who took care of me through all of this difficulty is now dead. Mr. Bowling took advantage of the fact that I was alone, and unleashed his hoarde of racist monsters to try to kill me in order to permanently silence me regarding the secrets that I know about him. His gang trounced on my family because his son sexually molested me when I was eleven years old. His racism threw him into a rage regarding the incident, and he accused me of molesting his son, even though there were two of them that attacked me, they had a co2 pellet gun, and I was om my familys property. He convinced his racist buddies that I was a sexual freak, when it is his own son who is the pervert. His son grabbed the steering wheel and rammed the gas pedal of a car that he was riding in, causing it to hit me and break my leg, almost killing me. When witnesses came forth, Mr. Bowling used his influence in City Council to have variances put on their property, strong-arming them into silence. With the help of his racist buddy Roy Mullins, who was only the middle school principal at that time, Mr. Bowling managed to have me framed and sent to reform school TWICE. Mr. Bowlings son worked tirelessly with his rich racist government-connected group of friends at school to make everyone think that I am a sexual pervert in order to keep rumors from surfacing about what he and his friend did to me. Roy Mullins set me up one time, and arranged for Mr. Bowling to beat me almost to death with the paddle. The school secretary called my uncle and he came to the school to defend me. Mr Mullins told the secretary that she was fired, because she called my uncle. They were getting ready to take me into juvenile custody, and Mr. Bowling told me after he beat me that I was "never going home". They retaliated against my uncle who came to stick up for me at the school by using government actions to cause his sawmill to be shut down, which was his main way to make a living. These people have done much more to myself and my family, but enough about me. The group of racist City Councilmen that are connected with the men who attacked my family were allowed to directly make appointments because they were in violation of term limits. They mostly just appointed their racist buddies, but they included two African-American women to city council in order to hide their racism. They recently singled out these two black women and forced them to resign, even though several White Council Members had also mis-used their city charge cards. Racism is not only alive but it is RAMPANT in Knoxville, Tennessee. I think everyone in our local government would have to be fired in order to solve this problem.
