Missing them.

Ask:
About a year ago, my grandma passed away, after moving down to live with us. she was with us for 2 months before she passed on, and my parents both kept on saying that she was “holding out until she could get to know me”. I was devastated, and i cried myself to sleep that night. At the funeral, among severe depression, i managed to keep myself together. I loved her so much ,and the precious little time i spent with her was some of the best spent in my life. anyway, about a month after that, my dog, who has been around longer than me (i was 12, she was 14) started having really bad system failures, and she was kinda loosing it mentally, and we had to put her down. She was my companion for my whole life, i had never known a world without her, and despite the annoyances she gave us, i loved her as much as anyone ever loved a dog. But none of it really HIT me i suppose, until now, today i just came home from school, and i just realized how much i miss them both. i just want to talk to some people, as my parents proved quite useless in the matter.

Answer:
Life is full of emotion, but you can easily choose to ignore that emotion. Although you miss someone, theres tomorrow waiting for you to take up and embrace. - Khjar.
Answer:
look mate things happen and when bad things happen you got to deal with it your own way wether or not those ways seem healthy to others.. in the end just look forward to the good and focus less on that they are gone and focus more on your good memories

Answer:
I'm so sorry about your grandma and your dog. The best thing you can do is talk it out with your friends and then you'll get all of your emotions out. Morningdew99 also has good advice

Answer:
Sometimes the best thing to do is live a little in these situations of sadness. Meet someone new, do a nice thing for someone you don't know, things like that. I find the random happiness reminds us of the good there is in life when it is taken away.
Answer:
i hate them for that. we were supposed to ship grandmas ashes to her hometown, did they attend to the simple matter? no, they let them sit there on their dresser for a year, and now theyre all packed away because we moved. all we had to do was take the dogs ashes out to a nice country road and scatter them, did they, OF COURSE NOT

Sorry about that... though that was quite a delayed reaction ; ). I really have nothing helpful to add on the subject. Apparently I am being really depressing today. I think I just drove this guy on another post to suicide...
Answer:
Oh my friend, CERTAINLY know how you feel...I've a wonderful dog, named Spunky and a rescue, when something happens to her, will need psychactric help. No doubt...And, losing a grand parent that you love, compounds the issue...My grandmother on daddy's side, she love me with a doubt....Missed her so bad...Hang in there...it will get better, ONE DAY AT TIME....

i didn't want my mother to die and even after 4 years of her passing i still think she is just on a long trip in Germany ,but reality is she wont ,she will never come back and while we are growing old and older it will happen to us that is the way it has to be ,do not be sad about your gran and your dog they floated of were they original came from and were we are going and our children will follow it should not be a sad thing and when you cry don't be ever ashamed of crying its a relieve valve from your heart, may the force give you all the strength you need...
Answer:
I'm so sorry.
Answer:
I know exactly how u feel..my sister died about 3 years ago and i still cry everyday. My sister lived in Florida at the time so we went down there to stay with her for a lil but a couple weeks later she died. I think that she waited for us to see her and get our love before she passed. ((im crying right now lol)) That is probably the same that happened with you. I am truley sorry and just know that u can talk to me anytime. But you will always miss them and that feeling doesnt go away.
