I’m trying to burn files to a cd, for a digital portfolio. I did it in Publisher; the only problem is the cd only works if your cd drive is labeled “D” is there any way to make the cd work reguardless of what one’s drive is labeled?
Answer:
I'm not sure about changing the program, but you can change all drive letters except the one Windows is on. Simply right-click My Computer and click "manage", then click "disk management". Right-click your CD drive, then click "change drive letter and paths", "change" and assign it whichever letter you want. You may have to juggle other drives around to get D available: be careful as any program that references a file stored on that drive will no longer be able to find it.
