10 months since we broke up & i can’t seem to get over him.I’m already with another guy & I love him very much. And I want to get over my ex-boyfriend in fear of losing my reletionship.He knows that I’m still not over my ex & is very understanding about it,but it’s hurting me doing this to him,because I really love him.

I was in a similar situation with my ex girlfriend who would always get upset when she saw her old ex because he had cheated on her. She would call me in random hours of the night complaining that he was making out with another girl just to piss her off. I know the guy is a jerk and he is mostly at blame because he really did hurt her badly, but her talking about and still being affected by her ex is one of the things that drove me away from her. If your not over him you shouldn't use another guy to try to get over him, all that will do is make the guys feel used and under appreciated.

that happened to me once (it is right now actully) that's real tough. if ur ex really broke ur heart then find a way to break him out of ur life. take up a sport, enjoy ur time with ur boy friend. do SOMETHING to forget him until he doesn't really matter anymore

Exactly! Its probably just the routine you miss, the broken promises and dreams that you feel you cant replace. You can. Start over, try to make new goals for your new partener and yourself. Try not to let people rent space in your head for to long, theres only so much space to go around!

You need to evaluate why you broke up with your ex in the first place. Chances are, it was because at some point he was a jerk to you or did something that was offensive to your senses. Now you have a nice guy. Be happy and appreciative of him and feel lucky, because there's a ton of real jerks out there. Life is too short to always waver between the now and the past.
