tingling sensations
I am 32 year old female. About 4 weeks ago, I had a dizzy spell with a tingling sensation throughout my body. 4 Days later came down with fever, shaking chills, sweating, rapid heartbeat. Also had low right side back pain. Was taking Levaquin for a sinus infection 2 days after dizzy spell. Saw Internist 3 days later. Saw no indication of any type of infection. Bloodwork, urinalysis,EKG Thought I was having allergy related problems;gave me Zyrtec Also attributed rapid heartbeat and tingling to panic disorder. Began to feel better a week later. Continued with right low back pain. I then began having tingling sensations in my feet. Went to Chiropractor. Back pain was gone. Continued with some tingling sensations. Followed up with Internist a week ago, was given flu shot. Began feeling sinus/allergy problems again...continued with tingling sensation throughout body. This past weekend. Was up all night with tingling sensations, low grade fever...went back to Internist, who ordered more blood work and x-rays. Believes I may have a virus. Once again discussed panic issue. The bloodwork was normal and x-rays of lower spine and neck came back unremarkable. She wants me to watch my glucose levels. Although there is no indication of sugar issues. The tingling sensations are continuing and waking me during the night. (throughout legs and arms). I will also have them while sitting in chairs/cars or sometimes even while standing. I am worrying myself sick. I have an appt next week with a neurologist, but would like some advice in advance.
Thank you

Hi, sorry we didn't get to your question sooner. I assume you've seen the neurologist already. How did it go?
Answer:
tingling sensations
Saw neurologist. Neurological exam normal. Does not see anything for a cause of concern, except that it appears I am dealing with anxiety/panic disorder. He did order MRI, although he told me is is almost certain that there would be nothing abnormal. That is in a week and a half. Now I am trying to learn to deal with the panic/anxiety. Follow up with my internist next week.

Thanks for the update. Let's also see what your internist says, and keep us posted and we can discuss this further.
