another 'have you seen in Primark?' thread *yawn*
Sorry to post yet another of these threads. Is this dress in store yet? Has it already been and gone?!
Cheers.

That's lovely - I didn't see it yesterday but I'll have to keep an eye open for it.

Anyone dreading getting their knees out this summer? A possible tip!

Anyone dreading getting their knees out this summer? A possible tip!
Usually everything I wear in summer is just below knee length, thereby concealing my knees, which are dark and scarred and Urg-leee. I do like my legs, however, and have been enjoying wearing slightly shorter smocks and dresses out at the mo with tights, but have been wondering how to keep wearing them minus tights in summer (and footless tights and leggings are not an option for me).
Anyway, I played around today wih some old tinted moisturiser and some bronzer, rubbed the moisturiser on my knees and dusted a tiny bit of bronzer on them, and they looked SO much better and somehow my legs looked more toned for it (I guess because they were more evenly toned). I guess fake tan must do similar for paler gals here, so maybe this doesn't help anyone, but just in case I thought I'd post. It feels quite mad making up your knees, though, I have to say!
Answer:
If you have dark knees, black African soap and pure unrefined shea butter will do the trick.
Answer:
Ooh really? Will have to get some next time I'm in Elephant visiting my sister, thanks for the tip! :great:
Answer:
I don't think it's mad to use makeup on your body. A friend has scars and uses Dermablend to cover them up.
When i go out in in the summer, i run a line of Palmers Cocoa Butter bodygloss down the centre of my shins, it's supposed to draw your eye in and make legs look longer and slimmer
