Clothes that won't offend people!
Hehe that title probably makes it sound more dramatic than it is! :D
Anyway I'm going to Morocco soon and the guidebooks say that as it's a muslim country tourists should avoid wearing skimpy gear when out and about so they don't offend the locals.
What sort of thing should I wear? How skimpy is skimpy? I wasn't planning on displaying loads of flesh when not at the pool but are mini skirts out? Has anyone been there or somewhere similar and what did you wear?

I've never been to Morocco, but in that context I would probably class anything that bares the shoulders or is shorter than knee length as 'skimpy'. In my opinion, mini skirts are a definite no-no!

She said men always stare and she felt quite uncomfortable... I'm not sure about if it necessarily offends, just wear that they are not used to.
She said that even low necklines were a bit dodgy out there, I think covering up as simply comfortably as possible would help... but i've never been there myself so couldn't say for sure. I would say it will be warm, so maybe linen trousers and kaftan-y or floaty style tops might work.

I'm going to Agadir which is a bit more touristy so maybe it won't be as bad. I am expecting to get stared at as I'm a tall blonde, but I'll have Mr Lucy with me to protect me!
I've got knee length shorts and some kaftans but I'll probably have to raid my mothers wardrobe!

I think the standard code is knees and shoulders covered- but if it's easier take a couple of nice light pashminas and use them to cover up "normal" holiday gear when out and about:wave:

Just popped in to Tk Maxx about an hour ago and bought a fab Edina Ronay Coat for £49.99!
It's grya and I am not sure how I would describe it other than it has a gathered bottom and sleeves, maybe a coccoon shape?! I dunno, in anycase I got a size 14! My other wintercoat is an 18! I think it lookks pretty good if I do say so myself! It scims my bum, and instead of making me look lumpy gives me a smooth silhouette, it's the same sort of effect as an A line skirt! Just though other curvy/pear shapes may like to try it!
Its got 3 big black buttons and quite a big collar. Makes me look quite classy which is quite a feat :)

Hi guys - wondering if you could help.
I was wondering what you would include in a marketing portfolio if you were going for a job in this field.
My degree was in business and I have since been working in marketing for 2 years.
In addition to my experience evident on my CV do I need to have an additional portfolio for interviews?
Answer:
I'm not sure if you would need a portfoilio as well as your CV. Imo, make one up if you feel you have enough content. You may want to include previous briefs you have worked on, and outline the stages you went through to complete a task. Results such as pictures or graphs could also be used to show that you succeeded in a task. You could also include different areas in which you have worked in, and examples of ideas you have worked on.
However, if you are planning on going to interviews, it may be a better idea to use your CV as a starting point, and explain to the interviewer about the work you have done in more detail. You need to have things to talk about and if you do not have much content for a portfolio I think this is a better idea!

I don't think it's unflattering, I can't see the shorts very well but they look a bit formal maybe, denim ones might be better and wedges instead of the shoes you're wearing, but that pretty much completely changes the outfit!

They are smart shorts, but I was wanting something rather than denim - have already got some denim shorts so there's another outfit option anyway! Wedges would be my first option for shoes with this outfit but I just didn't put them at the time of taking the photo! Here's the shorts (with detachable braces I might add - shan't be wearing those!!):
