Topshop Plea! :o
Hello
I don't plea often but I've seen a high waisted skirt on sammeh's style diary and it looks amazing! (Sorry sammeh for talking about you in 3rd person!).
Anyway it's this one:
Buuut, like all nice things it's out of stock on the site. I'll check my local store asap, but was wondering if in the meantime people could keep an eye our in their locals aswell? Would reimburse via cheque (or paypal if preferable) with full postage costs.
Bit of a cheeky request but I have to have this dress!
I think I'd need it in a 6 to have it nice and snug but an 8 would be fine too.
Thank you in advance to anyone who keeps an eye out for me!
xxx

Would you like to work in fashion?
NO.2. ask :
Would you like to work in fashion?
Possibly some of you already do? I think I'd love to do my current job (PA) in a fashion environment...although how it would help the shopping addiction I don't know...
Answer:
When I was younger I wanted to work on a fashion magazine, but now I think I prefer fashion/ shopping to be a 'hobby', although I'd consider becoming a personal shopper if I got bored of teaching!
Answer:
I would SO love to work with fashion, maybe doing window displays or in a fashion office, anything apart from working with the public. x
Answer:
I work in Topshop
I would love to work for a fashion magazine. It would be like The Devil wears Prada.;)
Answer:
I'd love to own my own boutique store one day. But not just selling fashion, I'd stock homeware and bits and bobs too.
I've worked in retail over the years, and trained to be a window dresser but went in a different direction after college.
American Apparel delivery times and customer service
NO.3. ask :
American Apparel delivery times and customer service
Hello  I don't post in here often but would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me how long they've had to wait for deliveries from American Apparel (UK). I've now waited 2 weeks (time specified is 10 working days and this has passed). I've been trying to call customer services all day but no one is picking up - it's going to answerphone. I've left a message this morning but no one has called back. I've just submitted an query via the website.
I was just wondering if it normally takes this long? I'm going off on holiday soon and will be gutted if I don't get the order in time :boohoo:
Thanks ladies :)
Answer:
How spooky I was just ranting about thsi to my mate!!!
I too have been waiting 2 weeks. They say 10 days, but I mailed them and apparently they have had some issues so were hoping to get all back logs cleared last weekend.
Crap customer service in my opinion as they didn't bother to send an email to let us know of the issues, and I wanted my dress for a party thats been and gone!

Thanks Coops! I was worried it'd gone missing somewhere as our post is terrible. I agree it's very bad form to not email us and let us know there's a delay. I don't think I'll be ordering online from them again. I've told them to cancel my order unless they can guarantee it's going to arrive before the date I go on holiday.
It'll probably have been delivered today now after all that!

Trouble is that if it's delivered while I'm away, the post office will send it back after a week and then who knows what happens...:cmdunno: If I've informed them, at least I can argue then that they should give me my money back asap I guess.
Stupid thing is, I live in London so I could've just gone to a store but I thought this'd be easy!

Ballerina Slipper
NO.5. ask :
Ballerina Slipper
I need these (please!) - Anyone know where in the UK I can get these (and I want the originals rather than something like them)
Thx
Answer:
You can buy Michael Kors in the UK from Matches, Browns and NAP online, or try Harrods, Harvey Nichols or Ricci Burns. I couldn't tell you where you could buy that particular pump, but you could try ringing the individual stores to see if they have the style in stock.
