Scarves - how do you wear yours?
I bought a big cream and silver scarf/shawl type thing from HM yesterday and then realised, I don't actually know what to do with it :o How do you fold it so that you get that cowboy type look (lots of scarf and it comes to a point). Dearie me, I'm not making a good job of explaining this...does anyone now what I'm on about? :lol:

Just wondered what you all usually put the lead time as on auction sniper? I cant decide wether to go for 5 or 7 :think: I'm worried its going to miss it if I put it as 5 :lol:

I use bidnapper - it just bids for you at the end - not sure when!
It probably doesnt make much difference if you use 5 or 7, its whoever bids most that wins, not whoever bids last! :lol:

I use Justsnipe and I think it automatically puts it on at 7 seconds for you. I've never lost an auction yet BTW (touch wood) so it definitely works :D I don't think it'll make that much difference whether it's 5 or 7 seconds, because most other people will bid with about 15-20 seconds to go anyway, if they're doing it manually - they won't leave it until the last 10 seconds because it's hard to get the timing exact when you're doing it yourself rather than using a sniper.
I always put a fairly high max bid in...often it doesn't go that high, but it means I always win because my max.bid is higher than anyone else's :D (make sure it's not something ridiculous that you couldn't afford to pay if it *did* go that high though)

Have put my max bid at a good amount, it's sitting at the amount at what I would pay for them in the shop so hopefully I should be OK. Only getting them off Ebay as my local store doesnt have them anymore, but I'm pretty sure other stores do. Hopefully I'll get them cheap! :D

i use 2 seconds but no matter what you put you still need to bid higher than the max bid at the time. sometimes i also set my maximum bid to be a weird increment just above what i'd like to pay (say £xx.78 or something like that if the auction allows that small an increment).

I have never been keen on trousers with turn ups....however have just bought some that I do like! but am currently unsure what shoes are best with these....the trousers aren't terribly long so i couldn't wear higher than 2 inch heel but what shape shoe is best?

i think what ever you would normally wear. just the same as you would with non-turn ups. i particularly like almond toe shoes.

Just wondered who is off today, and who has had to still work?
All my family have still had to work today, but I have got it off (But I'm with an agency doing Temp work so dont count :lol:). My OH has it off too, and most of his family. Weird how some companys think its acceptable for employees to have it off whilst others dont...
If you have it off what are you going to do be doing?
I was going to OH's later, but now he has things to do so instead I am going to sit around in comfy PJ's all day (its raining outside so will make me feel nice and snuggly!) and watch CSI, as well as bagging, updating my Itunes and playing/waiting for my auctions to end on Ebay. :)

I am off :D I voluntarily worked the last one and it was so boring and although I got £100 for basically a day of not much at all I wouldn't do it again..I have been out all weekend so today have done the ironing and a bit of washing, been up to my Mum's to water the plants and feed the cats as she's away, had some lunch, had a girly bathroom sesh and pampered myself and now I am having a little mooch on the net before retiring to the sofa to watch tv....:D

Me too- and then I'm off all next week in the south of France with 40 kids on an outdoor pursuits holiday- yipee! :yay:
Have spent the day lounging about in uggs and snuggly jumpers as it's so horrid outside. Am also doing washing/ironing :sleep:
AND my topshop parcels have been dispatched so I'm very excited that getting my new purchases :rolleyes: :lol:
