Need decent fitting pair of jeans
Ive not had a decent fitting pair of jeans for ages- and ALL my pairs seem to look awful
Firstly I have a problem with sizing. Many 14's are fairly tight on the bum :o :o do up ok on the waist yet have a tendency to push flab over the top - not a good look :o :o
If I buy a 16 instead the bloody things are literally falling down every few minutes- and I dont mean just slipping, but really falling exposing my underwear-- again not the look I want to achieve :o :o They do fit better on the bum though. Have triedusing belts with them but there is about 2 inches of waist being drawn in to fit well- leaving a bunched up look under my tops
I never seem to be able to find a pair that actually fits well, and look good- if I did I'd buy half a dozen of them :p
So any recommendations? - need some that allow a bit more space for my big bum- without making it look bigger :o

I fancy buying a pair of cropped jeans/trousers but I'm not quite sure how to wear them! I am 5'5'' and size 12-14. I have quite short legs but I'm not keen on wearing massive heels. Any style suggestions or tips on how to wear them? Do they make your legs really short?

I wear them, I'm only 5'1 they probably do make your legs look shorter. I've never worn them with heels. Usually with flip flops in the summer, or I'd wear them with ballet pumps.

It all depends on the length. If they're just below knee length, then they can make your legs look longer (especially if you've got comparatively long shins!). Midcalf length ones can be killers though!
I've got some mid-calf length ones which I wouldn't dream of wearing without wedges or heels of some kind. But I'll wear my just-below-the-knee ones with ballet flats or flat sandals. The heels don't need to be huge - I wear my just-above-mid-calf-length :lol: gauchos with teeny kitten heels (and I have wee short legs already).
One way to decide is to work out if you'd wear a skirt of the same length without heels.

It's a hard one that. I'm a size 14 (probably more like a 16 on the bottom depending on the cut) and have a short inseem (about 30-31) and I have yet to find a pair of cropped trousers that look right on me. I tried gauchos and I just looked awful. I did have some cropped combats last summer that looked great - I wore them with Birkenstock style sandals mostly - but I have never found any other style I can get away with.
