    Opinions on this dress (again!)
    Hello,
Thanks to everyone who helped me with my dress dilema the other day. I ordered the yellow dress from Toast but unfortunately it's a)too big, b)the wrong colour for me, and c)creases way too easily to take on my holidays:( Apart from that it's gorgeous:lol:
Anyway, I've bought the following dress from Oasis which I really like and want to wear it with my blue shoes with a black slip with lace edging to go under it - do you think this sounds ok? I though it would be quite cute if you could see the lacy bit it the dress opened when I walked.
Mr Dots reckons the blue shoes look weird with it, but I quite like the way they clash! The alternatives are my black patent AP shoes but they kill to walk in for too long and I want to be able to wear it on holiday so need comfier shoes - do you think the blue will be ok?
Eta, also, what jewellery do you think?
    Answer:
    blue platforms
    Answer:
    AP shoes
    Answer:
Yep! I also think a pair of black patent ballet flats would look fab too!
And silver round toed (of any heel height) would look fab
    Answer:
    :great: :great:
That's a lovely dress and love the idea of the slip.

do you dress differently when yr in a relationship to when yr single ?
just a question i thought bout the other day
i think i dress slightly different now im in a relationship(been together 7yrs)
maybe bit more casual since his whole wardrobe is casual but am also braver to try new things as he gives me the confidence to do this
do you think it's possible to morph into your partners wardrobe ?
    opinnions ladies
    Answer:
Erm, I am not sure tbh. i have been in a relationship so long, my tastes have grown up and I think that would happen anyway rather than due to the influence of my other half.
I have always been confident to try new things but within the boundaries of what suits me.
I guess I have more confidence now not to dress up as much if that makes sense? I can happily go out with makeup on which I maybe wouldn't have done before?
    Hard to tell really.
    Answer:
catslife, I'm like you, been in a very long term relationship (15 years  ) so it's hard to tell.
I certainly have a very different sense of style to my OH apart from our love of jeans. I listen to him, and he gives great advice on clothes and style, and I suppose he does influence what I buy to a certain extent.
He made my buy a pair of shoes yesterday and has already come up with outfit ideas for them! He's a perfect shopping companion and has a good eye. I think because he's into style and fashion, he makes me try things I might not have the confidence to if I were single.
However slobbing round the house, I wear my uggs and a hooded sweatshirt which he loathes, but I ignore him on that one!
I don't know really. Interesting one to think about...

My oh used to slate my uggs until I got him a pair.. and he now loves them  ;)
    Answer:
I've been in a relationship quite a while too, so not really sure.
My style has evolved in a good way but it's definitely not because of my husband's style. I look a bit more put together, and I'm willing to try new things mainly because of just getting a better idea of what suits me, and seeing what some of the ladies on the bag are wearing.
I've definitely been an influence on my OH because he used to be a complete label whore, whereas now he's addicted to Old Navy because of their low prices and good quality.
We both had very similar styles to start with though, in that we loved surfy clothes and the look of them and that's still true. Our going-out clothes have gone up a notch though in that my tops are no longer Morgan-type ones and are more adult and varied than just cheap/thin polyester, and his shirts are more fitted and coordinated with his outfit.
I'm still a bit of a hippie at heart though and have tons of patchwork and one-of-a-kind clothing, and think nothing of going barefoot to the corner store, which fortunately no longer phases him.
