Answer:
Broderie anglais AND frills? A bit too much for me I'm afraid. It reminds me of a toilet roll holder, sorry :D
Answer:
Hm... there is another picture of it that is better, it looks much nicer but it wont let me attach it!
Answer:
Sorry but it looks like something that should be sat on top of toilet roll in your nan's house.
Sorry!
Answer:
Great minds curls!
Maybe the other picture is better? Let's have a lookie....
To buy or not to buy...

To buy or not to buy...
THE most gorgeous pair of Prada shoes
(I don't want to post a pic cos they're on Ebay and I don't want anyone stealing them ;) )
Pro's
Beautiful beautiful shoes :faint:
A bit of bargain
Con's
They still cost over £100
They have an 11.5cm heel meaning they're not very practical
I wouldn't have the opportunity to wear them very often (but think I would be happy just looking at them and stroking them :o)
So, do I buy?
Answer:
Wellll,
without a pic it's hard to say ;)
But for some reason- paying £100+ for shoes on E-bay- that you wont neccesarily wear, wouldn't appeal to me really.
Just think, you could buy 2 pair of other shoes (topshop etc) and get soooo mcuh wear out of them :)
Answer:
I agree with Miss SC
If they aren't practical and you were going to pay more than a pair of everyday shoes then I wouldn't.
Answer:
Wise words from both of you!!
Thanks for the reality check girlies :D
And I can post a pic now I'm not going to buy them ;)
ETA: And £20 less I can order the red slouchy Office boots I've been lusting after for months :)
Answer:
If you love them and think you will forever then go for them.
If you love them but don't think you will in a years time then no.
A gorgeous pair of shoes that you won't wear a lot but are classic are worth spending that extra bit on.
I get bored terribly quickly though so i wouldn't go for it personally :o
Oi Prof, black and white skinny trousers
NO.3. ask :
Oi Prof, black and white skinny trousers
I got bored of looking so I've called customer services and they are going to be in my local store in the first week of April. You still want a pair?
Answer:
[rudely muscling in]
Is that the Warehouse ones? Bold Street shop by any chance?
Answer:
No sweets, the River Island ones - Church Street!
Answer:
:) Thank you.
Although that shop was nothing but unhelpful the last time I fancied a pair of trousers in there, I'll have a look.
Answer:
River Island? Yeah, they are useless, I called Manchester to make my initial enquiries as they are more helpful!
Large Prints Small Figure-what do you think?

Large Prints Small Figure-what do you think?
Hey guys, was just wondering what you all thought about whether large prints and patterns on a smaller frame looks abit OTT/ overpowering or whether us short arses (like me im 5ft and a size 6/8 on top and bottom!) can carry them off just as good as the rest of them lol? :p
Reason i ask is cos ive been browsing thru the Next website and came across this really nice top, ( will try and post a link cant guarantee it'll wrk tho lol)
floral holterneck- Next
hope that wrks, if not, its in the womens casuals section, under denim, navy, red on page 1,
ive been looking to add a bit of red has my wardrobe looks a bit limited from green, pink and blues lol
thanks very much girls

Answer:
I wouldn't say that that print was really big, so I think it would be fine on someone very petite, especially as it's just a top.
In general, I do think that really big prints work better on taller people (and longer garments!), just because it shows the pattern off better. But I'm small and quite slight (feel like a flab ball atm but that's another story) and wear big prints if I feel like it.
g_k
Answer:
thanks g_k :)
Im always drawn to bright and big patterns but have always been put off buying and wearing them cos i dnt wanna feel swamped in them, but i think i'll have a trip to Next, trouble is,if i get it, i'll need new shoes to match lol... what a pity!lol
:p
Usually lurk on Fashion, and have resisted buying things,.. damn i was doin SO well ..til now. haha:lol:

Which outfit? YOU decide!!!
NO.5. ask :
Which outfit? YOU decide!!!
Okay, so me and Mr Lucy are going to our work Christmas party on Friday night. The theme is black (don't ask me why). Mr Lucy is wearing a black suit/ black shirt combo *sighs at the image*.
What should I wear?
Outfit 1:
Black satin camisole with see-through overlay- Gap
Black jersey skirt with raggedy bottom- TopShop
Black strappy heels- Office
Black beads and black/sparkly earrings- TopShop
OR
Outfit 2:
Black vest top with black sequins on the shoulders- River Island
Dark jeans tucked into knee high boots
Same accessories as above
Answer:
Outfit 1 for me as it's slightly more dressy for the party, plus you'll look fab against Mr Lucy! ;)
Answer:
1 for me too! sounds a lot more partyish and I agree with sadie, you'll look like such a glam couple!
Answer:
I'd put the camisole from option a with the jeans from option 2.
Answer:
Option 1 for me too! If your OH is wearing a suit i don't think jeans will cut it.
