What percentage of your clothes do you wear?
NO.3. ask :
What percentage of your clothes do you wear?
I have heard that we only wear 20% of the clothes we own.
Thanks to a huge wardrobe clearout over the past two years I think I am up to about 50% now. That is still not good, considering it doesn't stop me buying things. It's not that I can't fit into them or that they are out of fashion or anything - I just like new stuff better!:o
Answer:
Hehe me too always wear the new stuff the most!
I would say I wear 80% of my clothes at least once a year, but ona regular basis, around 40% :o because I have a lot of lovely stuff taht isn't really practical/doesnt go with alot
Answer:
I'd say 40% on a regular basis - at least every week, 20% rarely, ie cocktail dresses I probably I only wear each a couple of times a year. The other 40% I'd say I wear every 1-2 months?
I don't think there is anything I never wear, although I go through phases of whats my favourite items etc, which I'll wear loads, and then swap onto something else, then maybe go back to it a couple of months later?
Answer:
I don't want to think about it :faint:
Since moving in with Mr BB and having a big clear out in the process it's gotten better, but I'm still aware that there's far too many (jumpers, mainly!) that I don't wear.
Once I've got this first lot of ebay stuff out the way (that I've still not gotten around to putting up! ) I'll probably have a root out and see what I can find to sell.
I feel bad having clothes that I don't wear.
Answer:
About 40% of my clothes are going out things, which I've had for a number of years, but I've worn them 2-10 times over that period.
I only wear about 30% of my clothes regularly. The other 25% about twice a month, at most.
I have about 5% which have never been worn. :o

his 'n' hers fancy dress ideas needed
I'm doing a couple of charity races this year as a pair with a male friend, and we quite fancy the idea of dressing up- in previous years we've dressed as a number of daft things, and fancy something new. it has to be something that we can move in and not too sweaty though - we'll still be racing to win!!
ideas please......
Answer:
Hmm, that's a hard one since you'll be running...
What about mickey and minnie mouse?
Or perhaps a celebrity couple, so you can dress all glam ;) ?
I haven't any other ideas right now, I'm sure other people will have plenty more better ideas than me though

atch we've already done the flintstones:lol: and we've done angel devil and cowboy and indian - loads of fun every year with the sewing machine and sequins.
Answer:
I saw a great his 'n' hers fancy dress where the couple dressed up as the Gaultier perfume bottles from the ad that was on TV a few years ago. He wore a stripey sailor top and hat and she wore a pink corset.
Not ideal for running though, so not much help at all!
Need a party dress !
NO.5. ask :
Need a party dress !
Help ! I need an Xmas party dress and I can't find a nice one. I want something stylish in a nice colour, something of reasonable quality that's not so short and thin it shows all my lumps and bumps.
I've tried Monsoon (too expensive) and New Look and other high street shops (too flimsy and cheap and short).
I was considering this one:
http://www.debenhams.com/jv/product_details_jv.jsp
It's exactly what I'm looking for, but a bit out of my price range.
Does anyone have any Debenhams discount codes that work, or any recommendations for another dress? Is Debenhams having a sale in the next couple of weeks maybe?
Can I really justify spending such a huge amount of money on that dress?
Answer:
The link doesn't work, how much is it?
Answer:
http://www.debenhams.com/jv/product_...133174780 235
It's £100 :O
Rather a lot for a dress.
Answer:
There is a sort of similar dress in HM that I bought, the top half is basically the same, the skirt part is all one length with 3 layers. It is sort of net kind of material, so if you were brave enough you could cut it and it wouldnt fray, i don't think. It comes in grey, which I got and red and was only £15.
Answer:
Thanks, will keep my eye out for that. Any other suggestions?
