Glasses....for people who don't need erm glasses

Glasses....for people who don't need erm glasses
This may seem a little silly and pointless BUT does anyone know where I can get some glasses I could wear perhaps to work or casually that don't actually have proper lenses in them, i.e. I don't need to wear glasses but would like to try wearing some.
I'm not making a mockery out of people who have to wear them, I just want to build a look around them.
I've seen a pair on ebay - **** ones but do they sell them anywhere else?
Thanks :)
Answer:
You can buy glasses with clear lenses everywhere, specsavers, vision express etc.
I was in Vision express today and they have loads of designer glasses, I got some lovely Chanel ones, but they didnt have ****.
Answer:
Oh I didn't know that! Thanks Jorden :D how much do they generally cost if you don't mind me asking??
Answer:
I rekon you will get french connection ones for about £80!
Chanel ones I got were £160 then I had to pay loads for lenses, but you wont have that problem!;)
Answer:
let me guess, rectangle ones with a black rim? ;)

    Has anyone seen these? Off the top of my head I know they do them in black, can't remember what other colours. They had like a ribbon woven through the front, ish! Does that make sense?
    Just wondering if anyone has got them? I wish I'd bought them when I saw them :head:
    Answer:
    Do you mean these??
    Answer:
    I saw these today and I absolutley love them - they come in different colours too, but I would get so much wear from the black ones!
    Unfortuntly they did not have my size, but they will be mine!
    Answer:
    Oooh they are cute!!! Hmm might have to make a trip to NL....
    Answer:

    Answer:
    Well, there are some lovely suede ones in Topshop at the moment....just not vintage. They are slouchy and over the knee. There's been a lot of hype on here about them over last couple of months. They are also flat heeled.
    Answer:
    thanks but i looking for some shorter ones.....maybe like mid calf length, something like that...
    thanks anyway tho!
    :)
    Answer:
    Ok not sure entirely what u mean when u say vintage, as if they're in a shop, they're hardly vintage, but anyway:
    I saw/and tried some gorgeous dove grey flat pointy suede boots in New Look today.
    They were slouchy, mid calf and soooo beautiful.
    Only reason I didn't buy them is my feet are size 7 now I'm pregnant, and by the time they go back to my usual size 6, it's summer.
    They cost £25 and came in balck too.
    Utterly yummy :)

    Topshop flat over-the-knee all suede boots.
    Well, I tried these on the other day and I've got to say, for £85 I wasn't impressed. As others have already said, they were rather loose around the top and I could imagine them slouching quite considerably after a few wears - then how would they stay above the knee?? They are beautiful though....
    Although....Topshop now have a pair (unfortunetly not on website yet) of half suede, half leather over the knee, round toe boots which are just as lovely and don't slouch at all. They are £95 if I remember correctly. Only problem was.....they weren't long enough to cover my knee as much as I would have liked. Damn my long legs!! I'm still dreaming about them though. Anyone got them??
    Answer:
    Loads of people returned the suede ones due to sagging. At least 3 people on here that i can think of but there was more :(
    I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole myself. My suede ones didn't sag but they stretch at the ankles after a few wears and become under knee boots.

    O/T- Need some maths help. (bit nerdy)
    I have looked online but to no avail, but apparently the formula for calculating the circumference of a circle is Pi r 2 (with 2 meaning squared).
    I need to work this equation backwards, as i know the circumference but need the radius and was told by a friend the the formula for this would be r2=c/pi, which would be useful if I could find a calculator with a square root function on it!
    I need to make a circle with a circumference of 6m, and one site i went to had a calculator and suggested that the radius would 80cm, but I'm not sure. Any help would be much appreciated.
    It is a kind of fashion related question as i want to make a sunray pleated skirt, and the pattern is a full circle.
    Answer:
    Can't help at all I'm afraid being an English student, but thought it might be worth pming geek_kitten!
    Answer:
    Morning,
    The formula your friend gave you is wrong, the formula for the Circumference of a Circle is : piD (As in Pi x Diameter), or 2PiR (As in 2 x Pi x Radius).
    If you want a Circumference of 600cm the maths would be as follows:
    C = 2 x Pi x R
    600 = 2 x Pi x R
    600/2 = Pi x R
    300 = Pi x R
    (Taking Pi to be 3.14)
    300/3.14 = R
    Radius = 95.54cm
    Does that help?
