ASOS delivery time

NO.1. Ask :
ASOS delivery time
Hello!
New to the fashion boards but i have a question about ASOS.com
I placed my first order with them on Monday and in my order tracking section it still says Awaiting Dispatch.
I read it says it can take up to 3 days to arrive after being posted
This is poo i wanted my new top for the weekend
Is it just because of the sale? Are they really that busy?
How long does it normally take for their packages to arrive?
Answer:
My parcels have taken about 4-5 days. I ordered in the sale at the time too.
They take too long for my liking personally.
Answer:
It could be because of the warehouse damage and there could be a delay. Normally they are very good though.
Answer:
I made an order with them Monday and the postman tried to deliver it yesterday but the porch wasn't open so i got it today :) I also checked the online tracking yesterday and it said awaiting dispatch so i would take no notice of that.
Answer:
Hi, I ordered my on stuff Monday and it came today. Up until last night the tracking said awaiting dispatch. Once its dispatched you should get it the next day or so i think.:)

    Help, anyone??
I'm in need of an opinion and everyone I would normally ask have their mobiles switched off!
I have a job interview in an hour, it's for a sales position in a hairdressing wholesalers and for presenting myself I wanted a smart look but funked up a bit with it being the fashion industry.
At present I have black wide leg trousers with pointed toe boots underneath, a pink vest with decorative straps, a sheer black 'bat wing' top over the vest and a pink chunky belt around the waist. Accesories are a silver heart t-bar chain (short), silver hoop earrings and silver bangles.
Does anyone think this sounds suitable?
    Answer:
I think that sounds a good interview outfit.
Maybe stay away from the bangles though as you may be tempted to fiddle with them?
    Answer:
The outfit sounds fine if you are certain that you don't need to wear a suit - sometimes a suit is expected in sales positions regardless of what industry it is.
I would maybe go without the bangles though as I read some advice somewhere that advised against jewellery that might jangle be a distraction.
    Answer:
Alright, bangles are gone and I no longer sound like a one woman band when I walk. Now I just need to go to the interview and setting off to get there would probably be a good idea.
    Answer:
    GOOD LUCK!

Cowboy boots + saddle bag = too much?
    Hi everyone,
I posted the other day about some faith boots I bought; they are "cowboy boot" style, though looking a tad more feminine and elegant.
Anyway, as they are tan-coloured, and I planning to wear them with black skinny jeans and a black top. Then I decided that I really need a tan coloured here to complete the look and put a bid for one off ebay.
Problem is, the only one I really like and the same shade as the boots has a saddlebag shape, so I've started worrying that I'll look like a cowboy with all these western-related accessories...
    What do you fashionistas think?
    Answer:
Without seeing the items in question, it's a bit hard to tell! I have to say that my instinct with statement items is to keep it simple with other accessories and avoid other things with the same 'look'. So it depends on how 'cowboy-y' the boots and bag are.
But as long as you avoid wearing them with a cowboy hat and fringed jacket or checked shirt ;), I think it would probably be OK,

    TS jeans
Do TS jeans stretch much? I know some people have said the baxters stretch, but I'm after just one of their basic low rise bootcut jeans.
    Thanks!
    Answer:
Don't know off hand, but I do know most of the Baxters are about 3% elastane so check what material the normal ones are as that should give a good indication.
    Answer:
Wish I could help, but not really a TS jeans fan :(
But Id say jeans always do stretch a bit... :)
    Answer:
me neither usually, but had some time to spare earlier and tried them on - they seemed quite a nice fit but I didn't want to buy them just to find they give me the 'baggy bum' syndrome :o
    Answer:
I've got some dukes from ts and some lolas and the lolas have stretched but in fairness I've had them over a year, I wear them to lounge about in and I think I've lost a bit of weight so that makes a difference. I think just dont lounge about in them too much and they'd be fine.
