Outfit for tonight
Feeling completely uninspired.
Mr BB's friend is staying over, and we're taking him out for drinks tonight. Just to a couple of pubs/clubs...it's student night.
Haven't a clue what to wear.
It's cold, and rainy and miserable. Yuk. Please help!
Answer:
If the weather is crap skirts are out the question....not unless you wear a skirt with tights and boots.
I can only be really imaginative (not!) and say jeans with a nice cami top and warm big jacket!
No sandals.
Answer:
hmm, if its rainy i'd avoid jeans as they just get all soggy and uncomfy at the bottom.
Personally I'd wear boots, opaques tights, skirt and some sort of top? not too many layers, just chuck a hooded coat over the top so its easy to put on/off inbetween bars.
god, thats inspired isn't it :D have fun!
Answer:
The only boots I have are flats...dya think they'd look crap worn with a denim skirt and opaques?
I've considered this outfit, with a cropped blue cardy and grey or navy opaques?
Answer:
Perhaps abit late but if you have any nice low cut (relatively) long sleeved tees with cullottes and tights/black trousers/the skirt in the pic if you're brave and any boots you have?
Or this outfit or yours strikes me as particularly nice although I don't know the formality of the occassion.

NO.3. ask :
Huuuge long shot.. last summer's Kurt Geiger's Elle Flip-flops?
I know this is a mega long shot, but was just wondering...
does anyone have a gold pair of these lying about in a size 6 that don't fit/they don't like that they're willing to part with?
I was thinking about them the other day and absolutely kicking myself for not grabbing a pair while I could.
I'll trawl ebay if no one has, just thought I'd try my luck here first!
:)
Answer:
I've got the silver ones in a 6 that I've never worn, but to be honest they're not as nice as the gold, doubt you would want them! They're there if anyone does though :)
Answer:
Thanks so much GJ, If no one has a gold pair I'll PM you!
Answer:
I have a gold pair - I am a 4 and the ones I have are too big, but not sure if they are a 6. You are welcome to have them if you want. PM me if you are interested.
Answer:
You're an angel! Have PM'd you!
MBT trainers
NO.4. ask :
MBT trainers
Hi
Just wondering if anyone here wears MBT trainers. A store in my area just got them in and I'm so tempted to get them. Saw Sadie Frost wearing them in a picture in Grazia magazine. They're supposed to be prevent cellulite and tone up your legs.:)
Answer:
Re: MBT trainers
They're supposed to be prevent cellulite and tone up your legs.:)
I've not heard much about them, but to be honest, I'd put them in the same category as those abdominal belts - you know the ones which are supposed to vibrate to tone you up and give you the body of Kate Moss while you sit on the sofa stuffing chocs! Too good to be true, unfortunately. I might be wrong, but if they really worked, everyone would have them!
Answer:
I heard about them a couple of years ago. They still look very clumpy to me. I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing them.
Answer:
Hi
Thanks for replies. The shoes are a bit clumpy, I totally understand that they're not high fashion but would be ok for walking, round the house, etc. Sadie frost was wearing the black sport one in the picture I saw. I think the blue one might be better though.

Answer:
There was a thread on this the other day...
Anyway, I have a pair of these and they are fantastic. I don't know if they prevent cellulite and tone legs...but they are really good for helping posture and things like knee and back problems. I wear them to and from work every day (about 40 mins total) and sometimes on the weekend because they are really really comfortable. They hurt for the first week (cramping calf muscles and sore feet) but are fine now.
I have a pair of the black ones - they're not that stylish but probably less conspicuous than when I was wearing my white runners to walk to work!

january wear is usually:
skinny jeans
