Do you like these shoes?
Once again I'm not sure and need advice.
I think they are quite vintage looking.
What do you think? :)
Answer:
I don't like them really, but that's probably due to the shape more than anything.
Answer:
I love the design and colours. I think for me it's the shape too, but i think they might look really nice on though.
Answer:
idont like them , its the shape :( they look very 80's in a bad way sorry:(
Answer:
I'm not too keen on them either. Sorry. :(
What do you think of CAT and Lonsdale
NO.2. ask :
What do you think of CAT and Lonsdale
As my neice says she wont be seen dead in then and they are chavtastic.
Just wondered what the opinions of the Fashionistas on the bag are?
Answer:
As long as they are not worn with accompanying gold creoles and scraped back hair I don't think they are chavvy.
In fact I love Lonsdale trackies for dancing/gym.
Answer:
CAT isn't really my thing, but I do like Lonsdale for sporty stuff. I like the fact it is quite retro.
I wouldnt really say they were chavvy
Answer:
Like the other posters, I agree that it's down to how the items are worn. Last winter, near enough every girl in Liverpool bought cat boots. The worst example I can remember is pink cat boots, jeans, pink gilet with long sleeved pink tshirt underneath and one of the (you guessed it!) pink girly dior over body bags.... that was chavvy.
I have cat boots in the neutral colour and I don't think they're chavvy - they're classics.
Answer:
I have worn the plain ankle-high black CAT boots for about ten years now and I love them. Nothing looks as good with faded classic Levi 501s, slightly baggy and dropped on the hip as plain black worker boots.
boots + rain = booboo
NO.3. ask :
boots + rain = booboo
sniffle...
i wore my pixie boots from office out for only the second time and my flat stairwell is outside. i walked in rain then went down the stairs and about 4 down went flying as theres no grip on boots. i bumped all the way to bottom....
now i have a bum booboo and a shoulder booboo (a really ow ow ow shoulder booboo ow) and ruined pixie boots...
all the backs of the heels scraped off just leaving the plastic stuff... should a shoe person be able to repair them as i don't spose it's office's fault that they don't believe in shoe grips...?
Answer:
oh no-you poor thing!!You could be cheeky and see if Office will fix them for you,if not try an old fashioned shoe repairers if you can, they seem to understand how to fix things better than, say Timpsons.
Answer:
I had a pair of boots reheeled the other day and the man was great!
They were really worn down (the leather was coming away from the heel and they looked awful) but he managed to sort em!
Hope you're fixed soon (boots and bum)! :)
Anyone seen anything like...
NO.4. ask :
Anyone seen anything like...
this skirt:
I really like it.
Answer:
I haven't seen anything like it, her stylist as probably made that.
Answer:
Maybe you could get a short pleated skirt and get a netted skirt to put under?
Answer:
I have a few tartan skirts and some netting so I will experiment!
Answer:
I expect it's her own label, L.A.M.B. :)
caramel, I've found that bolero!
NO.5. ask :
caramel, I've found that bolero!
it's on page 9 of the 'essentials' mag that's in shops now (the mini A5 size one).
Looks like it's part of a dress+bolero set from BHS(!) for £50... sizes 10-20
Would it be evil to suggest you buy the set and return it after a little 'trying on'??? :D
(it was the one on the front page you were after, right? :meh: )
Answer:
A bump for Caramel. :)
Answer:
I think someone told her it was a dress in the other thread :)
Answer:
Aww bless you for posting this for me. Someone mentioned that it was a dress but I didn't get a chance to look in BHS today but will look tomorrow in the hope that MAYBE, just maybe they sell the shrugs seperately too!!
Thanks again Heidibee :)
Answer:
this might be useful instead then :)
found this in good old primark yesterday - it's a bolero, but a 'clear' lacy one with the same flowery design, no ties and doesn't come too far across the chest...
sorry bout the bad pic, had to fend off the chavvy sa's wondering what the fook I was doing! hehe
it comes in cream/fawn too. but wait for the best bit - it's only £4!!
they seem to have LOADS of different styles of boleros in at the mo, but there were only a few of these in amomgst the £8/£10 sequinny ones :D
