    Primark Boots
Lovely, last night in Primark bought two pairs of knee length zip up boots for £15 each! Stretchy suede style fabric, two straps accross boot, small pointy heel, in black and a purple colour!
Seeing as I am a large calf girl, the fact that they zip up is a miracle.
Need it to get cold now.... Well pleased. Also bought a sparkly monsoon style sequin purse for £2!!!!
    Answer:
Oooh, they sound nice! Did they have brown, by any chance? Any possibilities of a piccie? ;)
    g_k
    Answer:
    boots
not sure about the brown... they usually do though. Will try and remember to charge my camera, though someone will probably beat me to it....
    Answer:
I saw these and was tempted but passed them by and now I'm gutted!! It's miles away to my nearest branch so I only go there once a month if that.
What a bargain £15! I didn't even notice the price at the time.
I also fancied some light brown/bronze heels that would have been ideal for work, but I passed them by as well! What's the matter with me fgs.
G_K I didn't see them in brown, only black and a sort of plum colour. They don't tend to have many shoes in my branch so a bigger branch might have more colours.

    NO.3. ask :
where do you buy your work trousers?
I've got a few pairs but the ones I've got from DP are really horrible, they are that cheap staticy material (polyester?) and I'm going to bin them. The best ones I've got were off ebay; they are really good quality and fit lovely.
I want some really good quality ones (cotton?) that fit well (bootleg and has to be petite fit max 29" leg) and are machine washable. Haven't thought of a budget but it has to be a high street shop as I'm in Dorset and don't do London
I want brown and possibly another black pair.
    Any ideas? :)
    Mel
    Answer:
Depends but usually most of my work trousers are part of a suit and then just mix and match...usually get them done professionally for me or high street stores such as Mango have really nice work trousers at times :-)
    Answer:
Next are really good for smart/work clothes, and have a good petite range....
    HTH :)

    Answer:
I am looking for exactly the same thing.
Have a look in Principles petite, and also Next do short leg on loads of their trousers.
Monsoon also do some shorter length trousers, but mainly their jeans.
I am fairly positive that Next have black cotton ones.

    Sparkliness xx
    Answer:
I get mine from wherever I can find a decent pair that fits me nicely and good value.
I don't have fixed shops where I always get my work trousers, but most of mine come from HM, Topshop, miss selfridge River island.
My best ever trousers actually came from a factory shop in Hong Kong for about £5... I was gutted then they died :(

    Dressing for weddings -sticky
    Hi hosts,
It's that time of year again. At least 50% of the board is in a blind panic or an accessorising crisis about a forthcoming summer wedding they're attending.
Perhaps a sticky wedding thread would be in order so people can look back at previous advice and ideas and then post their dilemmas if they need to.
What do you think? Is it worth a sticky?
    Answer:
I shall ask for you, OJO. Be back soon with an answer!
    Answer:
    please!
    Answer:
Shall set up a sticky now!

Desparate for long sleeved shirt dress things
Eurgh! I have a work trip coming up and basically I need to get me some plain coloured (black, brown, beige, khaki, blue are best), long sleeved (3/4 no good), non-see through, kaftans or shirt dresses that come down to just below mid thigh - i.e. totally, loosly cover my arse. No patterns and high necked pref. (although I can wear a high necked vest under them if necessary).
Has anyone seen anything!? Please? I don't want to spend much because it's not really the sort of thing I'd wear again. I know this sounds weird, but I really need to get exactly what I've described.
    Thanks!
