Just on the look out for some autumn/winter tops and spotted these. Shouldn't really be looking as i'm supposed to go shopping next week but from what i hear all the shops have sale stuff in anyway:rolleyes:
Anyway here we go, opinions appreciated....
They are both fine knit so i'm hoping they would be good for layering. Maybe a green vest under the black top and vice versa?

I prefer the black one as more stylish and chic...however the second one is probably more versatile as can be worn with a shirt underneath or tee...(not that keen on the colour and cuffs for some reason... :confused: )

I might order the black top as that is likely to sell out. I guess the green fine knit will be readily available and not as likely to sell out.

I have a warm jumper that I originally bought from a charity shop so I don't know how old it is. The label says hand wash only, but it's also made from 100% acrylic. Do you think I could get away with machine washing it?
Answer:
It should be fine at 40 degrees, get it too hot and it'll grow (heat on synthetic has the opposite effect as it does on wool). I'm very brave with machine washing, even my cashmere goes in - no disasters (yet).

Stick it on cool delicate wash, it should be fine. I'm like pansymouse, I wash almost everything in the machine.

Top Shop do an almost identical version. It's sold out at the moment, so you can either wait until they restock on Wednesday, or buy one of the 79 trillion ones currently selling on ebay ;)

Having bought a Lush Oak Roxanne and fallen totally in love with it, i'd like to try Lush again but for a smaller designer 'inspired' bag, was thinking about one of the small 'balenciaga style' biker bags...
Does anyone have one of these?
Or can you recommend another smallish Lush bag?

PiP - was it easy to buy from Lush? Were there extra charges for shipping and how long did it take to arrive? I have seen some lush (excuse pun) bags on this site but am dithering about ordering. In the meantime spending a fortune on non leather bags which don't last 5 minutes (the lastest one I bought was yesterday in BHS and whilst is is nice, dark green with loads of pockets and zips I don't think it will last long). I have found an ebay seller offering Lush bags and they are in the Uk, anyone else bought Lush off ebay and if so, what was that experience like?

i never was charged anything extra for customs...it usually takes about 5 days to be delivered, i think..

I bought a Lush spy bag from bunny hug store on ebay last week - lovely seller (seller ID natalie256). Beautifully wrapped in tissue and a little stuffed pink bunny rabbit on top. Would definately buy from her again - came the next day too.

I bought from Lush about 3 years ago a an artificial leather Luella bag and it is still going strong I love it. Delivery was no problem I did not pay extra but it came straight from China by Fedex or UPS- can't quite remember which. I havent bought from Lush lately but if you buy from the US even with the good exchange rate you could be taxed quite a bit by customs here. But on Ebay, put Lush into the search and a few UK distributors should come up just make sure they are posting from UK.
