Petite winter coats
I know I don't post much here, I'm more a lurker!
But...I'm struggling to find a lovely petite winter coat for myself. I saw a girl wearing a gorgeous cream fitted coat with a belt across the waist. Has anyone seen something like this? Preferably in black because it's so versatile.

Yeah I'm struggling as well.
I tried on a black wool mix coat in primark the other day (£35) and it was nice. It was slightly too tight for me on the bust though so I didn't buy it. I'm losing weight at the moment so I didn't want to go for the larger size.
My problem is I need a petite fit AND I've got a small budget, so I would welcome any ideas as well.

Mine's the opposite. They fit well around the bust and waist because I have a tiny waist but then my hips are huge (so I like to think!). I just want a perfect fitting coat, I'm even willing to pay up to £100!!
Also the length ends up being too long, soo hard isn't it?

I found the perfect coat in Zara last year. I'm 5'2", it's belted, finishes just above my knee and was only £50!! Perhaps you could try there this year?
I've tried some of the other high street shops this year, and most coats just swamp me :(

I never thought of Zara, I always think of it as a tall persons shop:lol: Do they have a petite section? Or are the coats all different sizes and lengths?

The thing i'd be worried about is buying from ebay you won't be able to get a refund if it doesn't fit or you don't like it and at that price it's a lot of money to lose.
Bay trading are doing leather bomber jackets for 50 pound so maybe look there?

Benneton could be worth a try as well. Or UniQlo, or maybe Gap. Go for natural fibers if you want something that'll keep you warn and comfortable instead of leaving you sweaty and clammy.

I agree with UniQlo, they're sweaters are so comfortable and easy on the skin, I have three sweaters from them, all which are still comfy years later.

I seem to have shrunk slightly and my New Look skinny jeans, while they've always been far too long, are now also too baggy round the top. The bagginess from the knees down has also gotten more pronounced. It's probably partially due to the jeans themselves, but my other clothes have also gotten looser so not entirely attributable to them!
I can't help thinking that the bagginess from the knees down would be helped considerably by a pair that was actually the right length instead of six inches too long, but I haven't been able to find any skinnies in a petite length. Next appear to do one in a 27" inseam which looked promising, but (a) they were out of stock in the warehouse and (b) the size 6 in the regular length were baggy round the top and I wasn't sure they would be any different from the petite size 6.
So after all that rambling, does anyone know where I can get petite length skinnies? :D

I'm sure topshop baxter jeans come in petite lengths :)
Infact i've just checked and they come 30" lengths, they're under the jeans section rather than the petite section.

Sorry c_i_c, I should have mentioned - I've tried on the petite Baxters and they not only fit all wrong but are still a couple of inches too long :o (30" are fine for normal jeans but skinnies need to end a little further up surely? Or should I just be ruching them up?) That's why I leapt at the 27" inseam of the Next ones :D

Yup - no luck in either Miss S or DP :( Miss S apparently do a short length in their drainpipes, but I certainly haven't seen any yet!
