Its see through!!
I just bought this
I love it, problem is it's got a slip already built in but you can still just see my underwear!! I have tried to get another one to go underneath but nothing seems fit the shape of the dress, i don't want to take it back but am conscious of people seeing my pants!:boohoo:
Answer:
Sorry if you've tried this already but do nude/skin coloured knickers still show through? I tend to wear that colour under anything white to avoid embarrassing myself.

Yes I was going to suggest nude coloured knickers. Also MS do nude coloured waist slips in various lengths. Have you tried one of those?
It's v pretty btw. I wouldn't want to take it back either.

2 Attachment(s) Hi girls
Im going to my friends mum's wedding next week and need some shoes to go with the dress im wearing in this pic:
Do you like these? Do you think the colour would go?
If anyone has seen any shoes that would be nice preferably wedges, please let me know! The cheaper the better and i would prefer them not too high and wedges! :)
Thanks

Has anyone ever used a personal shopper?
NO.3. ask :
Has anyone ever used a personal shopper?
I have been asked to go to a wedding with my OH and I want to look absolutely fantastic.
I've been considering using a personal shopper at either Debenhams or House of Fraser as I am crap with trying to decide what to wear to these kinds of formal occasions.
Has anyone ever used one before? Are they any good? Did you get what you were looking for? Did they put any pressure on you to buy anything?
Any comments appreciated.
Answer:
I've never done it personally but my Mum used one for her outfit for my engagement party and she was really impressed that was at Debenhams...
Answer:
My mum needed a mother of the bride outfit so we went along to debenhams to the personal shopper. she had a quick chat with my mum and then went off round the store searching for stuff. we were in there for hours and the girl just did not listen to my mum at all. she was bringing the wrong colours, stuff that really did not suit a petite red-head, and stuff that was just so unflattering.
It turns out she was not a personal stylist (i think we were expecting trinny and susannah type person who knew about body shapes and what would suit them) just a girl with an interest in fashion who was hired by debenhams.
in my opinion, i think you should take a friend who knows what suits you, grab a load of outfits and then send her out once you're in a changing room to get you more stuff.
much better.
Answer:
this is very true. My Mum used the Personal Shopper cos there was a promotion. Usually she uses me..:D
if It paid well I'd like to be a personal shopper..although maybe not..would I have to be nice?
Answer:
Thats the problem I don't really have any female friends that can come shopping with me as they all live miles away from me. I also hate shopping with people I know as I worry I'm taking too long over stuff - I usually just go on my own.
You don't have to pay for it so I suppose it couldn't hurt to see what they come up with. It's either that or go on a day trip somewhere where I have a trustworthy friend who I can enlist.
My black cat's black tattoo has faded - can I get him a white one?

My black cat's black tattoo has faded - can I get him a white one?
1 Attachment(s) Stupid question I know but if a very very very black person wants a tattoo, can it be done in white? Our abyssinian has a green tattoo in his pale ear and it is still going after 18 years but our black cat's tattoo is not legible after 7 years and he is a wanderer. Do you think I can have it done in another colour that will show up better?
Answer:
wow I've never heard of tattooing cats, why is it better than chipping them?
Have you posted this in pets? They may be able to advise better.
Answer:
Sorry Puddy I have no idea but your cats are so handsome! :heartpop:
Answer:
I thought fashion might have more experience of tats jo! I don't think the UK does cat-tattooing do they? I will post in there now though, thanks!
It's like ID but more instant than checking for chips - ff someone finds the cat they can see it belongs to someone and read the number into a national hotline and they will be given the owner's details.

Aw thanks Toosh - Tusse, the round one to the right with the tattoo is 19 this year and still going strong!
Heart Shaped Glasses?
NO.5. ask :
Heart Shaped Glasses?
No...I don't want to talk about Marilyn Manson's new song. Although, it is a good talking point because the video is SO DISGUSTING!
ANYway, I was just wondering if anyone had spotted any red heart shaped glasses on the high street anywhere?
I have found some on ebay from America but I want them now!
I dont mind black or red lenses but the frames HAVE to be red. :D
Thanks very much!
Answer:
Very unhelpful post, but I just wanted to say that if I ever saw a pair, then I'd buy them too :D
Topshop had some white ones, dunno if they'll have any other colours.
Answer:
Aww, thanks Casa. I could just get them from Ebay but...Im really impatient and I want to wear them ASAP. Not that there is any need too because there is no sun! Also, I kinda want to try them on first. :cmdunno:
Answer:
I'm pretty sure sell them
UO USA also have them and will ship via

Answer:
Thanks P_S, I'm checking those links out now. I saw some great ones on Fred Flare but they were charging $20 delivery for a $9 pair of sunglasses!:faint:
