I do think it's quite nice but what puts me off is that Twiggy is modelling it in the advert and as much as I think she looks great etc etc it will attract all the 50 year olds to buy it because they all love her.

Sorry I seem to do so many O/T threads these day, but I prefer this forum to General, so here goes.
As some of you might remember, mr Cheeks gave me an I-pod shuffle 2-3 months ago or so.
Well, last week I won an I-pod nanno for being the highest selling sales person in our region :yay:
What shall I do.
mr Cheeks said "sell the shuffle and keep the nanno"..
I will need money for his b'day pressie pretty soon, and I know he doesn't want the nano, so I'm thinking of selling that one, and buying his pressie.
How much do you think I'd get for a brand new, never used nano??
And what would you do??

Ooo its tricky because he bought you the shuffle it would be nice to keep it. It depends, if the shuffle suits you and does what you need it for then keep the shuffle. You should get close to the new price for the Nano, if not more what with some dippy ebayers being around!:)

I bought my nano for £139 from a shop but I did look at ebay and on average they were going for around £125 ish....

Hi,
I have recently lost a bit of weight and all my jeans are too big apart from a size 10 pair of stretch jeans I bought last week. I'm conscious that a lot of stretch jeans lose their elasticity over time though.
Any suggestions as to where I might find a pair of bootcut jeans (about 31/32" leg) in dark blue denim that aren't stretch? Hipsters would be good as I'm fairly pear-shaped and they need belt loops cos I've got so many nice belts!
So far I've tried...Topshop, DP, FC, Mexx Esprit (that's about it for where I live but I can travel!). I don't want to spend more than £40 preferably.

Well my all time fave jeans are all from French Connection and one pair is still ging strong after 3 years (look almost new even after 100's wear).
However they are more expensive than £40, they are more like £70, but I must say all my F*C*U*K jeans are much better than any other jeans I've got, so the money's well spent.
Topshop do non-stretch jeans though, have you been into a big branch?

Quite glad plums, dark pinks, purples, burgundies are back as have lots of winter items/bags/shoes/boots in those shades! As well as tweed and mixing rich materials (tweed/wool) with delicate ones such as silk and satin!

oh can someone PLEASE help me in my hour of need.
I am desperate for at least one pair of patent ballet shoes in turquoise, orange or fuschia.
The feckers at Kurt Geiger aren't getting any more FSNY ones apparently :mad: Right at the beginning when they first got them, I couldn't get hold of an orange or a turquoise pair in a size 40 anyway, and now they're not getting any more in apparently :mad:
I did manage to hunt down a pair of black patent ones today (after schlepping all over London :rolleyes: GOD they're so unhelpful there) but I really want a coloured pair.
Money is no object (well I don't really want to spend over £100 - seems a tad much on ballet shoes)

They have red and black in New Look. They might get other colours in as I have noticed they just had silver and gold but have now also started to get in metallic pewter, green and blue.

nursie Frenchsole don't seem to have any colour in patent other than black :( But I MUST go there (it's only a couple of miles from where I live - heavens how lazy am I!!!)
angelhead the patent ones in New Look aren't leather and I really would prefer patent ones. The metallic ones though, are leather and they are LUSH but the blue doesn't match anything I have and neither does the green :( Plus both stores on Oxford Street only had titchy sizes anyway, so thank god they weren't right as I would have been MAD!! They really are lovely and excellent value for £20!
I've also looked at Pretty Ballerina online but they don't have any either :(
Any other ideas??!!
