Next boots - sold out

NO.1. Ask :
Next boots - sold out
Looking at these boots but when I put them in my basket it says they're sold out - anyone know whether Next tend to re-stock after being sold out, or does that literally mean all the stock is gone?
http://order.next.co.uk/page.asp?b=X36p=228o=1 (top left hand pic - £74.99).
Thanks!
Answer:
Think it means they will get more stock in soon. Keep checking back there :)
Answer:
Fingers crossed -thanks Nursie!
Answer:
Yes they'll come back in, if you give them a call they should be able to tell you when.
Answer:
Hmm, will give that a shot - thanks a lot!

i keep looking at the DP and Topshop websites and keep seeing dresses i like and i never like dresses but i want something to wear for my 21st which is in a couple weeks.
But everything i like they dont have, and i dont mean in my size! i thought it was odd that they didnt have a 14 or a 16 but they dont have it in anysize at all. Whats the point in having it on there if they are out of stock?!
    Answer:
Their stock especially topshop goes so quick!
I have a ritual for them both....
Wednesday afternoon from about 3pm onwards keep checking to see if they have updated the site (the update wednesday afternoon/night, they don't have a specific time) as soon as they have go searching the site like a nutter and add anything i remotely like, then whittle it down to things i defo want and check out asap!
Same goes for DP's but they update on a Thusday afternoon/evening :)
    Answer:
its getting worse! i've looked at 5 dresses on TS website (all of them unavailable in every size!) 2 on the DP website yesterday (at least they've taken them off today!) and 1 on river island just now which is unavailable!
surely there cant be this much of a rush for fairly basic plain dresses!!!!!!!!!
    Answer:
There defo is a rush, more so for topshop. You can guarentee that by Wednesday evening all the nice stuff has gone...

what every single size in pretty much every style?! i dont understand! surely then they should be able to back log the order!
BTW how come river island dont seem to make dresses in a size 16? on the web they only have up to a 14 and i'm in between.
u can tell i just want to vent my rage now!

    Sorry, off topic
I know this isn't fashion, but this is where I spend my time.
I found out yesterday that my mum has early breast cancer. They found a cluster of pre-cancerous cells (calcification) and she has to have an op to get them removed and possibly radiotherapy.
She's taking it really positively - says it could be a lot worse and she's lucky that it was found so early. On the other hand, I'm not. I'm trying to be strong for her but I can't handle it, and end up just taking it out on her/hiding away (hence why I'm on here). I know that's horrible of me, but I just feel like my world's falling apart.
In a year I've had to cope with an awful lot, I'm on AD's and have only fairly recently stopped cutting myself. We were meant to go on holiday on Monday but we've cancelled it because mum's heart won't be in it. Only selfish me is just thinking how much, especially after this, I need a holiday. I know that mum won't enjoy herself and it's totally unfair of me to think like that.
I just want to escape all this because I can't cope, but I have to be here for her and strong.
I don't know what to do. I'm going to cancel the holiday today, there's isn't any doubt about it. I'm just falling apart inside and I just want to kick and scream and ask why. To make things worse I'm meant to be moving in September, and now I feel like I'm deserting her when I really don't have much choice.
Sorry, this is just a bit of a vent.
    Answer:
Oh dear. :( I couldn't read and not post. I know it's hard to accept it, but your mum is super lucky. She's right, it could have been so so so much worse. She'll be fine. They do amazing things for people with cancer these days. My mum was diagnosed with very advanced stage when I was little and she's still here today doing fab.
As for your personal emotions, it's totally understandable. Don't beat yourself up about it. I think though given your history you should see your counsellor or something. I was little when my mum was sick and had all sorts of selfish feelings. Unfortunately, I had nobody to talk to (except mum and couldn't do that) so years on, the effects are very visible in my attitude to some things. Please please go and see someone. You will have to be very very strong for your mum, you can't do that if you fall back into your own world of despair. :(
PM me if you want a rant. And good luck love.
    Answer:
 Bibbitybob, it'll be okay. Be positive and strong for your mum.
My mum went through the same, in fact she has had breast cancer twice and pulled through (lumpectomy, mastectomy, radio, chemo, the works) and 10 years on she's fine, god willing. I can empathise with what you're going through.
Your mum sounds like a fighter, and she's right - very lucky to be caught early on. She's got very good chances of returning to 100% after this.
It sounds to me like you're going through shock. Give it a few days, be with your family and you'll soon see it isn't the end of the world. I am confident that you will be strong and there for your mum.
Go on holiday later on, and you won't be deserting your Mum by moving in September.

    Answer:
    oh you poor thing :(
  The positive thing is that you've said they have caught it in the very early stages, so fingers crossed that they have caught it in time and she will come through it.
As for how you are feeling, I'm sure its totally normal to have all those type of feelings when faced with someone so close to you being sick.
I'm afraid I don't have any great words of advice but just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and your mum.

    xx
    Answer:
Really sorry to hear that :(
I know it's no consolation, as when it's happening to you it's the worst thing in the world, but the mother of a woman I work with went through similar earlier this year. She had a small lump, which was less than 1cm in diameter and therefore classed as the earliest stages. She was operated on and the surgeons ensured they removed all of the lump and any surrounding tissue that may have been at risk. She underwent a course of radiotherapy and has recovered fully. She leads the same active life she did before :)
Don't beat yourself up for the way you're reacting to it all. Everyone is different, and can never predict how they will deal with circumstances such as these. Is there anyone outside of the situation you can talk to, such as a close friend? If you can share all the "negative" feelings about the situation with them, it may help you to be stronger when you're around your Mom. Failing that, how about contacting Cancer BACUP? They provide support and information for cancer patients and their families

I really feel for you, but your Mom is right in so much as she's lucky it's been found early, and she has every chance of coming through this with no long term effects.

A little old woman (when I say little I mean *tiny*) wearing black uggs, a grey granny skirt and a huge big anorak with the hood up. She tugged on my elbow and asked me where the bus to padiham road was :D She was so CUTE :D
How she managed to wear that and not look like a bag lady is beyond me - she resembled one of the munchkins :D
