I found it comical when I was planning my holiday wardrobe using their wishlist, so I could keep a record of what I wanted then try find a cheaper version elsewhere so it didn't matter if it got wrecked. I got to 10, and it told me I couldn't add any more and "not to be greedy" or something like that
Answer:
really? thats amusing! i'm not that keen on topshop stuff usually, but i really liked this dress and i was wary of ordering it as dresses always look bad on me cos i've got big hippo hips.
Answer:
aaarrrggghhh just been looking on the DP website and everything i like they dont have in my size either!
Answer:
The DP site gets updated this afternoon/evening :)

    Bargain boots
Thought i'd share this with you all - am v pleased.
Popped in to Barratts of all places and got a pair of black suede boots, identical to a pair in Office (apart from them being in black suede), and best of all, they were reduced to £25, rather than £89.99 in Office.
    Yipppeeeee :yay:
    The boots
    Answer:
The link doensn't work, but wow well done what a bargain! :)
    Answer:
They didn't look like these but in black by any chance did they?
    Answer:
    Whoops sorry :o
    Hopefully it should work now
    Answer:

  • What is your dream bag?

    NO.3. ask :
    What is your dream bag?
I'm totally dreaming of bags. If money were no object, and you were to splash out on a bag that is timeless, that your grandkids would covet/ talk about as being the defination of class, what would you buy?
    Answer:
hmm this is a difficult one for me... there are loads of lovely bags out there, but nothing really jumps out to me as being classic at all.
I think even the most classic bags I would consider at the moment would probably bore me in a few years time. I say this because I look back at what I really liked about 3 years ago and what I considered timeless classic, and that is completely different to what I think now.
dunno, it's difficult to say really... it's probably cos style trends evolve so much over time, your mood tends to evolve with it.
    Answer:
I´d get Chanel or Hermes to design my own bags! (as they have done for with the Birkin!);)
    Answer:
A Bayswater would be quite nice thank-you very much - any colour (though I am not keen on the tooled ones)
    Answer:
There are no bags that I really, really , really want at the moment but I wouldn't mind a nice Chanel one at some point. Would have gotten a gold Bayswater as well but only in sale, alas they all sold out.
I already own by dream chocolate brown Celine Boogie and a blue Marc Jacobs Scarlet (huge slouchy hobo) :D And a gorgeous battered silver and snakeskin Miu Miu.
I've pretty much gotten rid of my cheap(er) bags as I prefer to have a few expansive ones that I adore rather than piles of cheap bags.

  • o/t: Do you read every thread?

    NO.4. ask :
o/t: Do you read every thread?
    Hi!
Just wondering what makes you read a thread? Do you read every thread, and try to comment or just read certain ones.
Personally, I look for the titles that interest me. If I see something that looks a bit interesting I'll have a nose. I usually miss a few threads out, if the title looks a bit boring :o or if it's something that I don't know anything about.
It also depends on how bored I am. If I've got absolutely nothing to do, then I'll read all of them!
    Answer:
No. If the title's of interest then I read it. However like you if I'm really bored I'll read the "boring" ones and often find they're quite interesting!
Thread that are asking repetitive questions I tend not to click on cos I know I know someone else will come along and post the answer eventually, but again if I'm bored I'll post a reply if noone else has.
On Gen Chat - I tend to ignore 90% of threads!
    Answer:
No, same as you two, plus it depends who they're by as well :o
I do try to read most though but I only answer the ones I feel I can help with or to bump it up for someone who does know.
    Answer:
I know what you mean CX.... the what's the website for warehouse/coast threads do my nut in, although there haven't been any for a while. Maybe people have started searching!!
    Answer:
I tend to click on the newest topic and click 'last' until i get to one i've already read. I'll then mark all the boards read and start again:o

  • O/T posts!

    NO.5. ask :
    O/T posts!
If we keep doing so many O/T posts they'll make us have a separate forum within fashion you know :(
It'll be called something daft like the Dressing Room.
We should limit the number per day as someone somewhere will be counting them!
    Answer:
I know, I felt bad for doing that! :o It's the reason why I don't spend that much time in Family any more as it's a mare flicking through all the chuffing forums.
I know I'd get better advice here, and more quickly too, than if I went to Technology or Music or wherever! :o
Again, completely O/T but I completely love your cat BTW, what breed is she/he? I have a Birman, and I'm assuming your gorgeous pud isn't a mog! x

    Answer:
I might change my O/T post cause it is fashion related if you are buying clothes as xmas pressies :D:lol:
    Answer:
I think we're quite a bit away from a seperate forum at the moment, and I'll fight to keep it that way :D
    Answer:
Oh I'm so sorry - I didn't mean to anyone feel bad! You ignore me and carry on!
I like O/T posts here and happily do them myself, I'm just worried that if we make too many that we'll be forced to divide into two boards and the lovely atmosphere of Fashion will be lost.
